Since vanguard armor is technically heavy armor, can SKs wear it? Or is it a separate type of armor that requires a skill SKs dont have?

Ok thanks. That helps.

Kinda makes guardians feel un-special, hehehe.

Can shadowknights actually TANK? Berserkers and Guardians will always be taken for main tank, but what about shadowknights? Do their healing/damage spell abilities take away from their defensive/tanking ability?

~~<<EDIT>>~~

I'm choosing between Guardian and Shakowknight. I already have a berserker and I REALLY like being main tank, but i think it would be cool to do some spell damage while being able to tank. I just want to know how much defense is taken off.

Message Edited by BraveSmart on 03-29-2005 11:56 AM

Groups we can tank fine, although I wish our aggro generation was a bit better ... but if your willing to be greative you can maintain aggro ok.

As for raids from what I see it depends on the guild. My guild the tanks take turns with tanking and the other tanks either bring a alt or buff and provide a bit of extra dps with their tanks. Have to admit though I am not high end, so it might be different .... but I still think it depends on the guild you belong to, if they are willing to go out of the norm (use something besides a guardain) then you should get your chance to raid tank. If not look for a guild that isn't so Min/max.

V/R

Blackoath 27th Level Troll Shadow Knight

P.S. Wonder why the Cold Forge armor looks so wimpy. Looks like black pajamas

Message Edited by Margen on 03-29-2005 02:30 PM

SK's make awesome MT's. as long as everyone in group knows how to not pull aggro (don't buf on the pull etc) I never have problems. Have had people in groups say "I didn't know SK's could be good tanks".. I tell them poor playes who just wanted a horse give us a bad name. The main healer in my guild simply will not go into big groups unless I am tank if that tells you anything...

I wore pristine forged carbonite vanguard armor in my low-mid 20's but replaced it gradually as I finished the AQ. I think the AQ has slightly better stats. My sig shows the vanguard.

Yes AQ armor is better then carbionite in both ac and stats. Just wished it looked a bit cooler .... something with spikes would rock . Not a big deal, just one of my wishes LOL.

V/R

Blackoath 27th Troll Shadow Knight
