View Full Version : Our lvl 40 squire?
<DIV>Im wondering about our lvl 40 squire, personaly this is one of the reasons i went SK, was to be a mix between tank/necro im currently lvl 33 and wondering what the squire is like and can we use it in non combat like a follower etc? any info about the squire is good</DIV>
If i understand your question right, to my knowledge i believe that is all the squire does actually, is follow you around. Maybe it will take a hit or two, but thats it, just a "fluff" spell for our class...i could be wrong, im only lvl 33 hence i dont have it yet, but i dont think so. <div></div>
It's just a fluff spell, so serves no purpose other than comic relief. Some have said the squire comes in handy once in a rare while by holding a mob's attention while you run away, but it's never happened to me.
Oh thats cool, thats better then the one mob summon pets i like a little pet to follow me aroun town

I'm beginning to wonder whether or not you know how to effectively use your "pet" if you feel that way. Then again, if Summon Squire is one of the reasons you rolled the class, I suppose this should come as little surprise.

Does he get 2 coconut halves to clap together? I mean, if we're gonna have some duffus running around behind us doing absolutely nothing but taking up pixels he might as well provide some comic relief. Now, if I could only train him to harvest nodes while I fight <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

<P>On rare occasions, my squire has drawn the aggro from whatever mob I happened to be fighting at the time, and a day or two ago when I was fighting a skelly, the squire drew the aggro (for reasons unkown to me) and actually hit back! Twice! Doing a grand total of 25 dmg:smileyvery-happy:</P> <P> </P> <P>DB</P>

You just need to move around the mob a bit so the squire on autofollow gets in striking range. He (she) did a total of about 75 pnts of dmg to the Creator the other day. I've also had him die in RE from the Minotaur AoE...poor guy, but he was easily replaced. <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Adriaus</DIV> <DIV>LvL 41 - AB</DIV>
