Which stat should I choose that would benefit me most for the SK? Str, Sta, Int, or Agi?...I'm leaning towards Sta or Str but I'm not sure...

Int doesn't benefit the SK at all, we are wis tanks. I would suggest str or wis as in the endgame we really don't have much place as a tank right now, so whatever will increase your dps/power pool would be useful. Don't neglect stamina completely though, as people will count on you to tank in XP groups, just in general, if you plan to hit 50 and raid, you are going to want str and wis.

wis also improves our chances of blocking with a shield. Personally I always go str, But I'm a High Elf and my Wisdom is all ready relatively strong while I have the weakest str in the game so I run out of power so quickly sometimes I could cry. Int increases the damage done for our spells but I wouldn't recommend putting a permenent stat into it, just keep it in mind when picking equipment.

Ishnar

I think its important that you consider now what kind of SK that you want to be... Balanced or Favored

Balanced: Work on your weaknesses and try to make them on par with your strengths (e.g. Ogre SK taking Agility or Wisdom)

Favored: Playing to your strengths of your race so that you excel in a particular method of combat (e.g. Ratonga SK taking Agility at every chance)

Balanced makes you rather standard not exceling at anything, and your gear will help you keep the balance as many different jewelry and such items will help you tailor your stats to be even across the board. You will not have any weaknesses nor will you be particularly strong in any one stat.

Favored allows a more personal flair to your character. Excelling your strengths as a particular race, being extremely agile or extremely strong. Playing Foavored requires a little preplanning, knowing which traditions you get for your race and such. An ogre for example can have godlike strength if planned right getting all the high end strength jewelry they can afford as well as always picking strength for abilities and traditions. A ratonga can maximize their agility making them dodge, parry, increase their AC overall, and improve their attack rating at the cost of lower overall damage from strength or if they get hit it hurts alot more.

Plan ahead and you can tailor your SK any way you want... or you can come to the boards, ask some questions, and make a cookie-cutter carbon copy :smileyvery-happy:
