Level 50 shadowknights what Axe do you want to use ?

I am a level 50 shadowknight on crushbone server and im very excited to hear about us being able to use axe/ great axe. I was wondering what some of the other high level shadow knights plan on choosing? <div></div>

I personally am not too excited about us getting axes in the sense that I have not really seen any good endgame axes. If you want slashing damage, use the EBBC as a 2 hander, or a Blood Fire 1 hander. I mention those two weapons because they are quest items and you are guaranteed to get them, unlike master drops. If you don't care what type of damage you are doing, the game has a plentiful supply of master drop crushing weapons such as the Royal Great Flail, the Sharlian Maul, and multiple others I have seen around. These items drop all the time. I have yet to see a high end axe on par with any of the weapons I have mentioned here, so I am of the opinion that them letting us use axes was merely to make us forget about all the other issues we have, but not actually help the class in any real way. On the other hand, axes are where it's at mid-game. The SBH is a great mid-game 2 hander and there are others that impressed me that I have seen but forget the names of. <div></div>

hey which master chest 2 hand crush weapon are you using i got a hammer out of a master chest called sparkling great hammer and i am using it at lvl 41 at lvl 50 it goes to 180 dmg the delay is 2.0 this is the best hammer ive seen so far for my lvl it also has a pretty big dd proc on it like 110dmg right now at my level and it keeps going up.  Is that the same one your using?

Unless they changed it, the combat text for flambergs most defiantly says 'you do peircing' damage, but as it is considered a "great sword" it falls under the slash skill, where in game it says that this ability is used to determine damage for ALL swords and ALL axes. Again, unless they changed it... I havent used a flamberg in about a month. <div></div>

<P>The Sparkling Great hammer is awsome you will need it for the epic raids few mobs are immune to crushing.  Been usingit for ever.  I switch between that and EBBC.
