Shadowknight's, how do they fair since release

<DIV>I left the game in early Jan and have returned just recently and still catching up on all the updates and fixes.  When i started i had intended to make my Freeport toon into a SK, but then ended up playing my Fury in Qeynos cause all my friends went that way, thus my Crusader stagnated.  Now i'm planning on playing a Freeport toon again and wondering if SK is worth the time.  I'm used to playing melee/caster hybrids and the SK fits that so i'm wondering the Pro's and Con's of the class before i continue the Crusader to SK path, or delete and remake into something else.  Thnx in advance.</DIV>

Doing all the content i can also.</DIV></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now a small summay :</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now understand this "we are good tanks" if we make it past the 40's to 50 we had to be doing things right since we didn't have the skills the other tanks had.  Aggro management for a SK is not trivial and for us to hold it we had to be resourcefull.  SK taunts are by far the weakest.  Our dps is fine but 3 other tanks own us for sure and pallies can keep up and sometimes do better.  Damage taken: yikes i wish i could say we were up there but technically we are behind all of them our lifetaps do not replace our lower mitigation like heals do for pallies.  And the avoidance of the bruiser and Monk puts us behind them in tanking. At 40 you two are still just babies compared to some of us who not only hit 50, but have been 50 for over a month. I'm a 50 SK, have been 50 for a while, and can tell you with some certainty that SKs really do have the shaft. We don't have anything that sets us apart from the other fighters in any way, but they all have something going for them, whether it be DPS, agro, mitigation, etc. There's nothing we specialize in, we just do it all to a somewhat lame extent. As for the post under, if you are lvl 40 and the top tank in your guild, how would that give you any idea how good an SK is compared to the other classes? All that means is that you havn't raided yet and you have no other similar level tanks to compare yourself to in your guild... I'm not just trying to shoot people down here, I'm asking you guys to play the game out before you come to the conclusion that the SK is a great class, because the concensus among just about every 50 SK on these boards is that we don't hold a candle to any of the other tanks in the game, and that compared to them, we are a useless class.</span><div></div>
