What's your Kite Shield? And where can I get one?

The way the tiers work in general is that you won't be able to upgrade to the next tier of mob dropped shields until the one you are using has greened out. You might be able to use a shaped crafted shield or something, but it won't be better than a blue mob dropped one. Stick with the one you are using for now.As for whether kite shields need attention, possibly. Because we have to cope with lower AC, maybe they could make up for it by offering us some different stats on kite shields such as strength and stamina. I know Kite Shield of the King has strength, but that's a master drop that few will get, it would be nice to see your average kite shield have some useful stats.Another note... You will find in each tier that there are several shields that max at different levels and have a different starting level, but have the same AC. In this case, higher level max does not give any benefit, and these shields are in fact lower quality versions of the ones that max at lower lvl. For instance there will be 2 kite shields, one says 607 at lvl 45 and another 607 at lvl 47, this means that at lvl 45, one will have 607 AC and the second will have something less, maybe 580. 20-29 Use a Stormshield which is handsdown the best shield you can get for that tier.30+ Pick up a Sheer Bone Kite shield at first, cheap (like 3g on my server) and easily gotten if you want to do it yourself. Very good def stats on it. There are better shields like the SBS to quest for though.

before level 20 any old kite shield will do.  After 20 try to get a Stormshield or Watterlogged at the very least.  After 30 you want a Sheerbone Kite Shield until you can get a Guard of Grumm (The god of Kite Shields equivalent and in some cases better than a pristine oak Tower shield)... No advice past 40 as I havent reached that point yet.
