I have not seen any really good endgame master axe weapons yet, so this a minor point. You all are concerned with using SBH, but you out lvl the weapon. I do believe this is a good move on SOEs part, I just hope they aren't doing it to appease us and then ignore SKs again thinking that they did enough for our class. There are bigger issues than whether we can use axes or not.

<P>Dont want to be a bubble burster here, but a Halberd is concidered a Great Spear in the game and since its piercing we will still not be able to use the Shiny brass halberd (that I know of).</P> <P>As for the Flamberge response, Flamberge throughout history has been considered a sword.  So even though it does piercing damage its still a sword and thus in game it goes off of slash for to hit while it deals pierce damage.  Arrows in the game do this too, go off of ranged to hit but can either slash or pierce depending on the arrow.</P>

Considering I dont have a shiny brass halberd I looked up any other halberd I could see and they are all flagged as Great Spear, so before you flame me about saying the Shiny Brass Halberd isnt a great axe read my post again where I say "a Halberd is concidered a Great Spear..."

As of 3/22 this is live. I can now use my SBH and assult axe. There is also an option to mount the SBH in your house. Very cool stuff. Thanks for listening to at least some of the stuff we are ranting about.

<div></div>On the docks in nek there is a shady buccaneer XVIII that sells several Shiny Brass Halberds and Dwarven Work Boots.  He might sell more of different types of Heritage Quest Pieces but that's all I've collected so far.  He about five to six of each.  The prices are roughly 28 gold for SBH and 25 gold for DWB.  However, it is a good idea to examine the stats.  I noticed that each SBH had stats that were far less than mine and the DWB when first examined were the same but upon second glance the stats went down.  At least the option is there to buy them back. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Vak Mallek on <span class=date_text>04-14-2005</span> <span class=time_text>07:58 AM</span>
