Right for those interested or maybe considering getting this spell I will list some numbers for you, comparison Ap 1 against Adept 3:Blasphemy Apprentice 1Power 48Casting time 1 sRecovery 0.5 sDuration 20 sREcast Time 30 sEffect Radius 10 mMax AOI Targets 20Increase threat 484Inflict 34 damage on targetDecrease AC of target encounters vs disease damage by 240-301--------------------Blasphemy Adept 3Power 52Casting time 1 sRecovery 0.5 sDuration 20 sREcast Time 30 sEffect Radius 10 mMax AOI Targets 20Increase threat 537Inflict 46 damage on targetDecrease AC of target encounters vs disease damage by 257-323I was slighty disapointed with the threat increase mainly because I heard guardians get over 800 on adept 3 with their group taunt (can be wrong there of course)

Again this goes back to the leveling of the higher end spells as being completely screwed up. Hopefully they will get to fixing these things eventually but yes, as it stands now that is a terrible upgrade.

I don't doubt the stats on the spell will change someday, so you might have to invest that ruby anyway <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<P>Have to take in consideration that the dot effect + the disease based ac debuff generates aggro aswell. The threat increaser is just one part of the spell.</P>

This upgrade is about on par with any app 1 to adept 3 upgrade that I have seen so far, so no one wasted a ruby, everyone else is going to get the same upgrade for whatever spell they choose, which means very little upgrade. Now imagine if you have the adept 1 already, you will get almost nothing out of that ruby... That's just how it works. The rarity and what people are willing to pay for these items (2.5pp) does not match the effect of the upgrade. If Adept 3 is a small upgrade, rubies should be common... <div></div>

True they do add some aggro, but what adept 3 adds up from Ap 1 is close to nothing at all. Have to bare in mind with todays market price I paid about 205 gold for a 50+ aggro increase. And with this spell its totally impossible to counter lets say the Warlocks lvl 50 AoE nuke, it would take me atleast 3-4 retaunts to gain back aggro. The only way out is to combine the spell with a number of other hate/damage spells we get (pariahs mark adept 1 for example which drain 10 more power, adds 50 health, decrease targets str with 3 and adds 52 threat) , and that leads to a huge power loss, it works after a while sure, but this can't be effective. Effective tanking on gaining aggro back would be using maybe a taunt combined with two strong spells. As it is now several taunts have to be used along with all of the damage spells. And even then we have to pray the one who caught aggro stops dishing damage or else things can go bad <div></div>

<DIV>Wow I would love to just see an Adapt 1 for this spell. Ive figured that spells 48+ will be pretty hard to find on the broker, since most players arent at my level yet.</DIV>

<DIV>Anyone know how's our taunt compare to other tank classes?</DIV>

In my limited experience Ill list the other 'tanks' I lose aggro to most often, and they say they arent doing anything. 1. Bezerkers 2. Monks 3. Guardians 4. Pallies</P> <P>That said it takes into account the skill of the respective classes, basically once aggro is lost you can spam you taunts buffs and toughness to try and grab it back but dont hold your breath</P>
