what rares do I need to collect? & completing for reward familiar reward

Hi can someone please tell me what rares exactly I need to collect? The names of it would be good. Besides the regular rares you get from each node are there any other rares that I should be aware of? Also how will the server keep track of those who has accomplished the required task already and will receive the reward? Thanks.

Just a note as it seems a bit off: Darkstone does not come from Dark Ore - Dark Ore gives Rubicite and and the veined stone gives Darkstone. Have gotten all the rares now except the Storm Ent Heartwood, which I am hoping actually comes from the wood nodes as it should.

Ah so unless you come in as a non-buffed toon it is not going to happen. No buff items for harvesting on the broker when I checked so I do not know how I would get a buffed toon to 600 when skill only goes to 550 without buffs.

And there are woodworkers and tinkerers over there that can make harvesting tools as well. <img src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" alt="Smile" />

Just ignore the descriptive part of the node name and focus on the type ore/stone<br /> <br />And yes, I've gotten several of the storm ent heartwood. Make sure your adjusted foresting skill is 550+, though this may change. (The nodes still say they need 600 skill to harvest rares but were allowing us to harvest them at 550 over the weekend -- they may be changed to actually require 600 without warning)

I have harvested all rares at adventure level 100 - 101 w/out any harvesting buffs. <br />I harvested every single node I found. I haven't stopped harvesting. My thinking is if I harvest the node it just might increase someone else's chance of getting a rare from the respawn.

I got that ethereal strand from roots - but since you can harvest the common strands from those fungi-nodes as well I can imagine they are another source for them.<br /> <br />Not sure tho.

Mmmh... would Dev consider adding a harvesting skill boost by itself or on the adventure bauble? Pretty please with sugar on top? I don't mind grinding to 110 and I plan to, but it would be nice to get the reward as a side perk and my TS alts never harvested.
