I've a stupid question and I want to know if am doing the right thing or not...Here are 2 examples:I got Theron's Heartening Call at Level 10 - It is an advanced form of Call to Arms. it increases stamina. Now I both upgraded Theron's Heartening Call to Adept I as well as Call to Arms and I still use both at levle 28 - My question is: does it make sense to use both - It seems like they stack - the only problem is that they are both grey even with Adept I at level 28...Same issue with Raltur's Siphoning Strike which is An advanced form of Righteous Blow - Raltur's Siphoning Strike is green I believe with Adept I at level 28...I mean I still use both during Melee - does this make sense or am just not being optimal here...Does anyone know what is the upgrade to Theron's Heartening Call and Raltur's Siphoning Strike?Am starting to wonder if I should not have picked Zarn's Deadly Aura over Raltur's Siphoning Strike - the lifetap from Raltur's Siphoning Strike is quite a joke...Thanks for any suggestions/feedback.

I dont think THC and CtA stack, they should take the highest level ability and overwrite the other. I only have the App1 version of CtA (so only +2 to slashing/crushing/piercing) and THC says +4. If I use both, I only get +4. If your CtA has a higher bonus, then that stat *should* be used.I took Zarn's Aura as I dont want to turn into a skeleton. The skeleton is neither intimidating nor scary...just plain stupid, and there is nearly no difference between the two.<p>Message Edited by -AtPlay- on <span class=date_text>03-01-2005</span> <span class=time_text>01:08 PM</span>

Thanks for the feedback...Am not a big fan of the skelly either and I heard you cannot mount a horse while you have that form...kinda sucks - inconvenient being more appropriate.I did not pick Zarn's Aura but Raltur's Siphoning Strike (lifetap) instead - I find it pretty weak indeed...SO I guess I need to run /respect and pick Zarn's Aura if I want to avoid the skelly thingy.../Cheers

Unholy Aura is your upgrade to Call to Arms and Therons. Not sure if they stack, but I use both in groups for the hate generation. So if they stack, good, if not, fine, Ill still use both.As far as Zarn's, its an excellent upgrade from Knights stance. Wait a few levels for Lucans though, get it upgraded to app4 at the minimum, and youll see the difference. The added defense is a definite must for me. You can turn the spam off, and turning it on/off to ride the griffon or horse is annoying, but its still better than Zarns a few levels after you get it.

<DIV>I chose Raltur's and I find it's reasonably good.  At lvl 31, it does 80-120 ish damage and heals me about 50-80 HPs.  I'll probably /respec at about lvl 40 so I may well change it then, but so far, it's been a solid skill and it doesn't seem to share a timer with anything else.</DIV>

<DIV>At 32, Zarn's Deadly Aura is still better than App4 Lucan's Pact.  They have the same defensive bonuses, exactly.  The difference between the two is Zarn's gives spell damage mitigation bonuses where Lucans gives skele form and poison resist bonus.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I continue to use Zarn's for the spell damage mitigation and the fact that I hate seeing "You can't do that in this form" spam.  I was disappointed in Lucan's and saddened that I payed over a gold for an app4 that I found totally useless.</DIV>

At 36 the defense value is higher.*shrug* At 32 Lucans is still orange, give it a level or two.In any case its personal choice, but I currently see Lucans as better, considering all my resists in a group are 1800+ anyway.
