<DIV>I know this has been an issue since release, but didn't turn up a search on the topic since early December.  It's getting a lil old at this point.  Doesn't seem to matter if I've been on my horse or not.  Didn't occur in the water in Big Bend, but did in CL and EL.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any word on when this will get addressed?  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>sorry for the triple post thing....<----has fat fingers......</DIV><p>Message Edited by Forane on <span class=date_text>01-29-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:17 PM</span>

<DIV>It's ridiculous, at this point. It's obvious that we're flagged as always being mounted. How difficult could it be to make the necessary change to the code to turn a value from true to false?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It affects sitting, wading through water and wearing an illusion—needless to say, you're doomed to see spam unless you turn part of your text off, which is about as useful as turning your car off on the parkway because the engine is making a "bad" noise.</DIV>

Create at least 3 chat windows (I personally use 4).Window 1 is the default window, which is where everything ends up by default.Window 2 - break out all combat spam to this window, maybe even include some other messages. The goal of this window is mostly to isolate combat spam.Window 3 - assign group chat, guild chat, say, tells to this window. Nothing else. That lets you not have to worry that OOC/Shout spam or NPC spam will drown out group chat or tells.

You could turn of the error (was it error?) text in the chat and wooo the spam is gone. But then also everything else that falls under error vanishes. Its annoying that this have been around for over 4 months soon. Fix!

You cannot do that while in this form.At least the horse spam stops after a few lines..That NEVER stops while you're in skeleton form. Ever. It's a horrendous source of spam. You have to turn it off under Chat Options > Game Text > Status TextWhich also turns off.. harvesting nodes and things of that nature as well.

<DIV>Yeah, this never happened 'till I hit SK. Now, when I try to swim or sit, or I get turned into an animal by a spell, my chat is spammed.</DIV>
