Decree of Decay,amazing...

<DIV>Lifetap - steal life from target and grant it to yourself.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Decree of Decay - decent area taunt, seems better than shout.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>HOWEVER, at app2 the damage my lifetap does is 5.  I steal 5 life and get 5 life back.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Double check your combat logs and make sure that the damage you are seeing is the life tap.  It's probably something else, as this is one of those skills that most shadowknights are very disappointed with.  In my vision the lifetap should give ATLEAST 50 hp.  If not more.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But, you are correct on your %.  Its about every 3rd hit, which is about how long the lifetap last.  You should see a little finger pointing taunt icon on your buff list when you use this skill.</DIV>

Decree of Decay lifetaps about 7 hit points for me at Adept 1. As the other posters have said, your assumtion that it was decree doing that damage must be wrong. This is actually a skill that most are dissapointed with and feel that it should be lifetapping at least 50 hit points or so.
