Does INT in anyway increase magic dmg done by the SK? In what way does INT benefit sk's? Cause when you read the official manual it says INT increase magic dmg for the mage classes I'm not sure if its the same for the SK

lol funny how this came back up, i'm pretty sure some of the older threads (if theyre still around) concluded that its wis not int now for sk

To clarify.. WIS effect our power pool, and the ability to land spells and resist enemy spells...

INT increases spell damage -- this is the same for every class (which is why all the heavy armour and weapons have +INT on them).

If you ever get the HO Scholar's Insight, its a HUGE INT buff (I had 110 int last night with it) and my rightous anger was doing about 100 damage when my int was that high.

Again Shadowknight power is dictated by our WIS and our STR.

For EVERY CLASS: WIS effects resists rates on spells cast and on spells cast on you and INT effects spell effectivness.

Message Edited by Aion on 12-22-2004 10:39 AM

Here are some hard numbers, level 28 SK:1502 HP 865 Power 1549 AC 58 STR 51 AGI 55 STA 27 INT 47 WISRemove 28 AC 3 AGI 3 WIS 12 HP 8 PWR ring:1490 HP (-12) 855 Power (-10) 1519 AC (-30) 58 STR 48 AGI (-3) 55 STA 27 INT 44 WIS (-3)Remove 28 AC 3 STA 2 AGI 1 STR 13 HP 7 PWR bracelet:1474 HP (-26) 856 Power (-9) 1520 AC (-29) 57 STR (-1) 49 AGI (-2) 52 STA (-3) 27 INT 47 WISWhich shows that STR and WIS affect power. I had heard that 75% of our power pool is determined by STR, and 25% is determined by our WIS. We can see that where:2 WIS = 2 power points lost3 WIS = 2 power points lost4 WIS = 3 power points lost1 STR = 2 power points lost4 STR = 8 power points lostSTR is our key stat, but WIS is also worth points.
Message Edited by WuphonsReach on 01-01-2005 06:41 AM
