<DIV>I have my horse, bought it at the trainer in North Freeport.  I have been accused several times of money hacking.  Rather humorous.</DIV>

I really wish the Unholy Mount didn't look so darn plain... It's brown and not very unholy at all, at least make it black or something.<p>Message Edited by Gripe on <span class=date_text>11-15-2004</span> <span class=time_text>11:52 AM</span>

<DIV>What?! Don't we get those really cool Spectral Steeds? The ghost looking horses? I seriously need one of those horses!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>I would love to have a nightmare or a skeletal horse as an unholy mount.  But a regular horse is good enough, I guess.</DIV>

<DIV>It's just a plain brown horse... :smileysad:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I thought it would be pitch black with red glowing eyes and have steam coming out of the nose... oh well... :smileysad:</DIV>

<DIV>I like how this guy immediately disses SOE, even though his n00bness is why he doesn't have the spell. </DIV>

<DIV> <DIV>Ehm, first of all; you buy the scroll for <FONT color=#cc0000>Summon: Unholy Stead<FONT color=#ffffff>,</FONT> </FONT><FONT color=#ffffff>it wont be just popping up, tadaa! You got a free horse!</FONT>.</DIV> <DIV>Second, the form and collour will probably change as you upgrade the spell. (Eg. with <FONT color=#66ff33>adept III</FONT>)</DIV> <DIV>We get an skellieform at <STRONG>lvl 35 </STRONG>(If I remember right)... </DIV></DIV>

<DIV>I hope they implement upgrades for the horsies - perhaps an adept 1 could look like a pitchblack horse while a Master I would look the same but with glowing red eyes, flaming mane and sparkling hoves... Also the runspeed could be increased (if that isnt to powerful). I have noticed that horses can be bought in different "qualities" and i would like for SKs to follow that increase as other mounted combatants will at higher levels.</DIV>

<DIV>Do other classes get upgrades to their 'fun' spells? I think it would be dependent on this. I think we are pretty lucky either way, considering that in four levels I get a 14 silver horse and my friend gets a spell that makes his group memebers kneel before him :smileyvery-happy:</DIV> <DIV>An upgrade would be great, but I for one am not gonna look this gift horse in the App 3.</DIV>

WoW here we come. :smileywink:</P>

<DIV><FONT size=2><FONT size=2> <P>I would be totally satisfied if our steeds started out being slower and uglier than store bought ones just as long as they increase with power and prestige as we level. Because in my opinion that is the whole motivator of RPG's; getting bigger and better, and not to collect things like shards and butterflies. I mean, some of us would like to think that it is because we like to "role play," but I think in all honesty it is mostly because we want to increase our "role" or status, if you will, over the next player, and in there lies the competition, which is what makes it a game.</P> <P>After considerable consideration I would have to say that I play EQ2 over WoW because the graphics are much better, however I am in total agreement with JIB. If Eq2 doesn't start improving by giving us, for example "cooler looking" steeds for both the SK and The Paly, then I too would have to say "WoW here we come." Because "cool looking" does not unbalance the game at all. It just makes it more entertaining, and to me that's the bottom line. :robotmad:</P></FONT></FONT></DIV>

<DIV>you are correct about the Steeds not changing looks as you increase level and that is a complaint felt from just about all of the SK community. I'm not sure if you realise but they do get alot faster. I've heard from reliable sources that at level 25 they run much faster than at level 20. Some have said that at level 25 they run as fast as spint or a bit quicker with the bonus that they dont tire.</DIV> <DIV>Thats I guess is a huge bonus that you can't get by even purchacing them off merchants.</DIV>

<DIV>Yeah pretty funny to base what game you are going to play by a perk you receive at level 20, who really cares what it looks like, you will get a magic carpet to ride on later, which is fast as hell, you will never look back at that slow ***I sooo love EQ2!*** horse again.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There is no upgrades to this spell, its just something sony threw in for fun, not a class defining spell at the least. me myself can't wait to buy my own horse and actually have something that travels at a reasonable speed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am starting to love my class, especially today I was soloing in Enchanted Lands and a pally one level higher than me was getting his butt kicked by a orange mob, I was soloing these all day with no risk, bees five whole levels above me were easy kills, granted I have a few adept3s but still showed me we have the DPS if we want to unleash it, not having to watch HOs and tanking we can cast some serious DPS while Infernal pact and consume vitae is healing us, we are a uber class and something to get excited about.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
