Once they added the 'thoughts' it became doable, for me. Seems like a lot of effort put into something for nothing, though. I didn't find any progression in the story, and as a paladin it doesn't make sense to 'skulk' around. I didn't want to do it twice though.

I enjoyed it on my adventurers, and crafters... I am kinda torn on this, as yes I think there was a good amount of Dev time put into this and I agree it had its problems, but overall it was a nice out of the box way of transitioning to the new lands, instead of clicking an object and POOF we're there.

I hope to see much more of this type of development in the future.

I thought the ride added a nice bit of depth to the TS story. Isn't there some way to allow players the choice to take it? Please???

and there is much rejoicing.

thank you ever so much. I wasted too much time on that unnecessary boat.

Sigh.
They seem ore viewpoints then we see. So I assume the masses wanted it and I admit it kinda blew my mind to run both sides of the initial part of the questline to discover that the other travelers that escaped already was actually ME but I liked have my mind blown and the boat was fun.

There will be a separate quest that takes you onto the boat, although that's on the adventuring side.

While the story remains very good without the boat, the ride really adds to the fun and makes running it for many, many alts much less tedious. Would love to see the option to take the boat added in...this was the most fun in a crafting story I've had.

But the crafter quest line (Into the spire) stuck at after releasing the Queen. Quest wouldn't advance at "speak to Alwenielle" when I am already being teleported to the beach.

I think this is probably for the best. The quests are supposed to tell us a story, it makes no sense to be on the same boat and escape the same exact way as you did the other time you adventured to the new zone.

You were on the boat because the Queen sent you to the same place she had sent the adventurers; once you escaped as well, you kept looking for them in the Obulus Frontier. It dovetailed nicely with the adventure line.

(Actually, it could still work as an adventurer/crafter combo...just needed to add the line "Oh no, not again!" when you woke up on the ship for the second go-around. :^D )

My personal opinion is that this should be an optional zone for tradeskillers. They could have the choice to "click and skip" or do the content. That way those who HATE it.. can skip and those who LOVE it can do it. Can't make all the people happy all the time, but this is one instance where both haters and lovers could be satisfied =D

Thank you!

The first time thru the boat was fun but a bit frustrating - not much of a problem the second time but still fun. Especially the zip line! I'd love to see it be optional so the whiners don't have to repeat it.

I am very glad it was taken out. It has no purpose for tradeskilling and if someone really wants to do it, there is the adventure side.
