I played a bruiser for a bit and i noticed that str AA seems to benifit _not_ using a weapon at all! (is this true)? If i went something like str 4/4/8 would i be fighting unarmed or would i be using a weapon for best dps?<div></div>

Yes, a lot of things in the STR line require you to fight unarmed. Your fists have a damage rating, delay, etc. just like every other weapon. You do miss out on stats and procs and stuff, but the double attack helps make up for that. General thinking is that the STR line rocks until you get a pair of fabled weapons, then you can just respec and spends the points elsewhere.<div></div>

Thank you very much for the info. I was wondering how it worked at high levels but now i know, cheers.Beside going STR 4,4,8 (?) what would be a second good path? I talked to a lvl70 bruiser in fabled gear he was praising the int line aswell. I will be mostly soloing, maybe doing some dungeons at times.<div></div>
If you want to go unarmed, then first go 4/4/8 in Str, then 4/4/8 in Int.Once you've got those 33 AA points, you should have a better idea of how you like to play your bruiser, and can either start investigating the bruiser EOF AA trees (For taunts, self-heals or extra dps) or go 4/4/8 into the Sta tree or maybe finish off the Int line (if you solo a lot).<div></div>
