Ok I know this a silly question....

I started me a new baby bruiser. I like the animation used when fighting with say a bo staff. Problem I have is some the 2hand weaps use that animation and others sem like ya hitting someone over head with a log. Is there any rule to go by so will know which is which before buy a weapon?

Maces, clubs, crooks, (and caster-type staffs) are the baseball swing animation.

Bo-staff is what your after.

ALSO, the 2 handed AA line uses the bo-staff only! Any 2 handed mace, club, etc... won't work with the AA line. I learned this the hard way.

Message Edited by Etchii on 01-22-2007 04:26 PM

really wish the Staff of the Flapping Wing had the bo-staff animation :smileysad:It was quite an upgrade from my ol' trusty Staff of Enlightenment but I miss the spinning-funkyness.Instead, I'm now hitting mobs with a shovel.(I'd settle for the shovel going *SPAANNNGG* when I landed a hit...)

Forgive my posting noobness. I dont know how to quote. I am curious about the AA proc and the 2h weapon. I have been using the Grizzwhateverhisname is staff. Its a nice weapon but lacks the bo staff animation. I am curious about the AA proc working with this type of staff or do I too need to go back to my Staff of Enlightenment ?Thanks for your feedback.

tt66 wrote:

(I'd settle for the shovel going *SPAANNNGG* when I landed a hit...)

LOL. I couldn't help but picture the chaos and activity on raids, and then hearing the random "spaaaannnngg" signifying our bruiser landed a hit.
