<DIV>I've been away for awhile, since just about after the first exspansion actually and while I can tell by playing that bruisers have been nerfed horribly I'm sticking with the char.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyway, I've been looking at the bruiser boards trying to get a feel of things and I've seen a ton of posts about how INT is a good stat to have but they never really say why. At 46 i have str and agi over 200 and sta in the 190s but sadly my int is at the base barbarian level of 12.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>so my question is why do we need int and is it really important that i look for armor with int in the future?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>also are there are bruiser specific sites out there?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>thanks in advance</DIV>

int is only good for getting skill points fasterfor damage and for power we use strenght (only damage from our heat dot is int based, not sure on that though)<div></div>

Probly they were talking about the INT AA line, not the stat itself.

Forget about the int stat for now. A level 46 bruiser should have closer to 300 str and agi self buffed to be usefull after the dozens of nerfs since you last played. Adornments and Mater I spells are also a must now if you want to tank yellow dungeons like CT or PF at level 46.<div></div>

<P>Ok here is the secret, Int is the most under estimated stat for bruiser many write it off as useless it is not. </P> <P>Most gear that has procs is based on int, matron legs, claw bound diadem, etc<BR>storming fist is based off int<BR>one of our fire based attacks is also.<BR>BUT the big reason why int adds alot of DPS.... Mantis Bolt w 500int+ its a 300 dd 25% proc... Mantis bolt actually has huge improvements w additional int. Part of the reason i like a fury in my group.  </P> <P>saying all that int is the last stat to worry about imho. Get your str and stamina as high as you can, get alot of agi and wis, then work on int for that little extra dps. </P>

<div><blockquote><hr>Doomhand wrote:<div></div>Probly they were talking about the INT AA line, not the stat itself.<hr></blockquote>I concur. As usual Grungo speaks truly, INT really isn't that useful compared to the other stats. Going 4/4/8 on the INT AA line, on the other hand, is (in my opinion) the best 16 AA points a Brawler can spend. The reason for this, is that the increased % to crit from Eagle's Fury affects our combat arts as well as our autoattack. Which is very very nice indeed, given the amount of CA's we spam in the average fight.</div>

I'm at 218str and 230agi self buffed.. i've got about 2p saved up and  ive been looking around for upgrades but haven't really found any that aren't ridiculously exspensive. but  this is my highest charecter though, not a twink
