Hello to all.I am a new Bruiser and so far loving it. I have 14 AA points and so far I went down the STR line with 4 4 4 0 0. What is the usual STR spec? Claw reversal looks nice (1.5% riposte plus parry to all other quadrants) but I am not sure if this is the right time to start pumping that or keep going with relentles Punches (currently (4) 48% double attack and 20 DPS buff). Please let me know what is considered the best STR spec....and BTW the last one in STR tree...is it worth it? 15 min timer....looks cool but long recast.TIA

4-4-4-8 in the STR line...heck 4-4-8-8 too... keep that until you've gotten yourself 2 DW's with a min DMG rating of 51 (Mine are 51.3 and 57.6)And to be honest, I am considering going back to the STR line because I think I actually may have done more damage than with my DW's... I know FOR SURE I did muuuuch more damage bare-handed than anything less than those. -- Coz

I to would like a little advice if possible. As of right now my bruiser is lvl 46 and I have in Str. line 4,4,5 and in Int. I went 4,4,8,8 should I go with 4,4,8,8 in Str or take it all the way down. I mostly solo with this toon and group here and there are there any suggestions as far as the Bruiser specific line goes that I should get. I am looking for mainly pure DPS type build. I know with EoF alot of things have changed so looking here for a bit of advice. Thanks in advance.

I have a new Bruiser alt as well (23) and primarily solo. I'm looking for a DPS build. What is the best option if you do *not* go with the strength line? I just don't like the idea of not using weapons, maybe that's superficial but it's how I feel.

I have a 69 bruiser (70 soon!)

I went duel wield sta, int, wis 4/4/8 4/4/8 4/4/8 using a 51 and 54 dw weapons.

It seemed to be tops.

I used my first respect to try out bare handed and went str, sta, int 4/4/8.

The damage is just phenomemal. If you have never tried it, give it a go. You wont be dissapointed.

I hated losing a few points in stats, but from a DPS perspective, I am pleased.

Personally, I don't like any of our end-of-the-line abilities. As to the rest, 4-4-8 is the minimum, STR. Lose the weapons.

I've done Int 4-4-8-8 for the melee crits and the parry (I think it's parry in the int line) ... and then Sta 4-4-8-8 for the damage proc and the deflection. If I wasn't worried about defensive abilities, I would have done Sta 4-4-8, Wis 4-4-8 (for the aoe proc), and Int 4-4-8.I've been working down the knockouts line and plan to max all those out (besides intimidate) for the 25% damage enhancements. I branched off to get shiftiness maxed. I haven't decided where to put the last few points I'll have -- either Vigorous Spirit or down the sacrifice line.

Message Edited by Bobbette on 12-31-2006 09:07 AM
