<DIV>Self confessed noob here, so careful with the acronyms, I only have a 30/100 of EQ2 Language :smileyhappy:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I started two chars largely due to reading up on the boards about what classes solo well, of which the Necro, Swashbuckler, and Bruiser were listed. I've always liked monk types, and Necros also appealed to me. I leveled up a Necro to 22 without any problem with largely just App III-IV spells and did quite well. My Bruiser on the other hand, not so good, so I figured it must be because I haven't spent my AA's yet. (My Bruiser is actually better equipped, has better spells, all Adepts at minimum, solid armor and weaponry based upon whats available at the broker and through questing). My hesitation? Largely 'cause I have no idea what the differance is between the two version (KoS and EoF variants). I've read all that I could find, but a lot of it assumes that I'm either already level 70 and either going for a raid build (yech---me no raid ever again!) or having gotten a large part of gearing done already. I'm only level 20 at the moment, so this is in part oriented towards the idea of how to level my way up with these.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It <EM>seems</EM> as if the Brawler ones are overall better (at least initially) over the Bruiser specific ones, but then again, I'm a noob and can't tell the differance :smileywink: My thought was to go with Tiger Sifu, but then the Monkey one seemed pretty good too, thing is they're (IMHO) mutually exclusive since one style focuses on bare handed attacks and one style focuses on armed attacks. Both seem complimented by Eagle Sifu which is nice, while I look at the Bruiser specific trees and to be honest, have a hard time making sense out of which to pursue to what extent (the numbers seem awfully small at times as far as bonuses are concerned). Any insight as to what I'm missing here would be greatly appreciated, or even if going with largely Brawler AAs actually is a good idea overall would give me enough direction that I can start spending those points. </DIV>
