As a bruiser on a PvP server I was just wondering if anyone has any tips they can compile to help young'ins like me to kill at the earliest possible levels. So far the only class I've learned anything to help kill is when i fight my friend on his Inquisitor in the arena but I assume it's similar to the Templar.Level 26 BruiserSo I normally wait till I see 1 hit that heals themand then i mez him , usually lasts til it's over.Shoulder charge / Crash then Break Throughand spam melee moves and pray till shoulder charge / crash come back up.Anyone got tips on killing healers or Brigands with us?Just add a tip for any class please : )

You are going to have a real hard time killing even con healers with your own DPS. Grouping is really the only way to take those two classes down. If you are solo your best bet is fear them into agro mobs or off cliffs.

1v1---

Without knockout combination, close mind, and stoneskin the brigand could be trouble.. just stun him first and keep on it. Thats how I won against scouts in my 20's.... they have low hp's and are easy to hit ...when they don't stun you and you can see them that is..(see invis totems ftw!)

Vs druids...well... I always have trouble with them. Damage shields will eat you alive if you can't get the job done fast enough, yet if you go all out but can't get that last killing blow in..ur out of power way before they are. Time your stuns to interrupt heals.. You can spend all of your power flying through your ca's but if he can get a heal off...well... now your out of power and he's ready to go lol.

Casters are no problem if you can avoid being rooted. Once you get close mind this isn't even a problem anymore. Casters are your easy win. Every time. I've never lost against a Mage.

Vs other fighters... I tend to go into defense stance and just try to hang in there if they are well equiped tanks... vs more moderatly equipped fighters I try to pound out the damage ASAP. These fights are always the longest for me, and the most fun.

Everyone has their own strats to win, just play around and have fun... you'll pick up your own techniques along the way.

Message Edited by Etchii on 12-11-2006 03:21 PM

It's just a normal cure for those types of effects.Close Mind is the one you're probably thinking of though. And it doesn't actually cure anything, it just makes you ignore control effects for a short time so you can beat someone up while mezzed / rooted :smileyvery-happy:

Message Edited by brekehan on 12-17-2006 10:41 AM
