<DIV>after reading the description of drag, i thought hrmm thats gonna be handy, i was going for all my dps AA anyways like a good little scou... i mean bruiser, so i picked it up. had it a couple of weeks now and after intially messing around with to test (seems to work just fine amazingly) tbh i havnt used it once in a raid or group, am i missing somthing obvious here? anyone finding it useful?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>its not a balance issue for me, im not complaining like i said was going for that aa path anyways and only costs a point so no great loss either way</DIV>

Think it's more for PvP.<div></div>

I'm still a couple points away from Drag, but I would think it would be useful in "dragging" a mob off a healer/caster/stupid scout. Although it's only 5 sec, that's long enough to generate a bit of aggro, hopefully enough to keep the mob off the over-aggroing group member.<div></div>

<P>In groups i use it as a mini rescue on that necro who lieks to lifeburn or wiazrad who just manaburned. </P> <P>In raids it can be used to help the mt catch up on HP if he gets low and fake death it back when he full. It can also be used to get agro when the mt dies. </P> <P>I am only at 86 AA now but so far i went 5 heal, 5 mitgation, 5 aoe taunt, 5 steel fist, 5 uppercut, 5 callosu stomp, 5 knockout combo, 1 drag<BR>next i will go 1 mezz, 5 kidney punch,  5 stonedeaf, 3 single taunt </P> <P> </P> <P><SPAN class=time_text></SPAN> </P><p>Message Edited by Gungo on <span class=date_text>12-10-2006</span> <span class=time_text>08:15 PM</span>

<DIV>Drag, for me, has been a lifesaver when I'm the MT in my group. Some uppity warlock bags aggro on an add, I tab to the add, punch Drag and go all out on my DPS. Mob will usually stay "stuck" on me <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I love the ability <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>I built my bruiser with another  DPS configuration in the standard achievment, and that is different from the one written in this section.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I did: STR: 4, 4 ,8, 4, 8(1)  and INT: 4,4,8,5</DIV> <DIV>I can still keep my good DPS and at the same time...when i see that my enemy it's a badass, i got the Chi!....it's enough let the enemy to 75% of HP and then activate it!......it does not exist a better combinator like : Close Mind + Chi + knockdown combination and if possible also Vigorous spirit ...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And i am corious how much useful Drag is <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV><p>Message Edited by Rezzonico on <span class=date_text>12-17-2006</span> <span class=time_text>04:49 AM</span>

Been playing with Drag tonight, it's nice that it's placed at the end of the knockouts tree which is IMO our best tree <span>:smileyvery-happy:</span> though the ability seems perfect for the Attention tree, but whatever.A couple things about DragIt does in fact Drag the target around, so you can pull it to anywhere you want, which is very useful IMO. So it doesn't just force them to target you. (I know this is how it's described but I wasn't sure if it was just flavor text, now that I've seen it I believe it, hehe)It doesn't seem to interrupt spellcasting... was kinda hoping it did. Apparently it doesn't count as a "Knockout" in any wayIt has some obvious benefits while MTing, but I was just DPSing tonight in Inner Sanctum and it came in handy on the double blood colossus encounters. The refresh time is a bit longer than Ignore Agony so my heal was always up and ready when I used it, and I just popped it on one of the golems to take heat off the MT for a few seconds when his hp dropped too low, and healed myself if needed. As soon as it wears off, mob pops right back on MT and all is well. Also for Tactician's Armor when it randomly targets a priest and runs to them, I was able to grab it's attention for a bit when Drag was up and put it back where it wasSo, I figured I'd just give it a try before I respecced (97 AAs now so will be respeccing after a few more) and decided I will probably pick it up again. It's a lot more useful than I thought it would be. I see it as a short recast Rescue with no agro, and at the cost of 1 AA point it's not a bad deal at all<div></div>

My understanding is that it is VERY useful in Raid scenero's where there is a mem-wipe mob, you can hold the mob (Hopefully) until the MT/MA's have re-attained agro control.<div></div>
