Why are you a brawler? (Yes, I am stealing this post from the Templar thread)

Woops. I am a high school wrestler, 135. I think that the brawler class is the closest I can get to wrestling and up close and personal fighting. I like the unarmed, martial arts feel... and tend to play one in any game that has it. The whole survival despite minimal tools, through training only type thing.And I like the down to earth, no nonsense, straight up physical aspect of Bruiser... over the mystical, "flying monkey" style of Monks. I model my playstyle like Riddick, instead of Bruce Lee.<div></div>

I never use FD and I think it is an almost totally useless ability. The reason I picked bruiser is because I like the concept of being able to kick the crap out of those tin can knights without real weapons or protective gear. I am very disillusioned with the class now  because lately I have been getting pwned badly.- soon to be ex-Bruiser<div></div>

    started a monk in september because they are better solo'ers (brawlers in general) then conjurors (being able to get to the nameds with fd, and kill them/ not having to kite on my conj) and they are a fun class64 monk right now =P hard to pl around raids<div></div>

Bruisers, to me, are more in line with one of the best forms of martial arts, Muy Thai Kick Boxing. Not alot of wasted movement, just down to earth [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] you up [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]! Thats wut I likes. Mhmmmm...thats right.

I play bruiser, for all they can do in groupe or raid:Back tanking ( specially with Drag ), the Feign death who can be cast on the MT ( I don't know the English name for ), the DPS, not the same as a scout but great and, the style !I love this class, my main is an Assassin, but I play sometimes my bruiser, and wish to make him my main :p( Sorry for my english )<div></div>

<FONT color=#cccccc>Because I like to be able to do good dps, but take a beating like nobody's business. And of course Feign makes things so much more relaxing. I played a monk up to 70, fabled/mastered all that jazz, betrayed and now I'm fabled/mastered all that jazz again. The bruiser is a better version of a monk, but they are so close, especially now. IMHO, either one offers me what I really wanted in the game, to be able to do everything on my own if needs be. I'd like to have some big nukes of course, but that's what alts are for :smileyhappy:</FONT>
