make our mit buff what it was before (1300) at master 1. we're getting droped faster than eye can register.

It means we have a greater chance to avoid and a 100% chance to deflect a % of the time (sounds confusing - liken it to a 10% chance to proc a succesful FULL 1000k divine dmg or something, NOT a 10% chance to proc between 100-1000k divine dmg)

what he meant was to give back the pre-expansion value for those who do not plan to buy new expansion (like myself).those who buy the expansion, they can work again with the new AA lines to compensate.

I think they should reduce the hp cost to 1% a tick instead of 2%.... otherwise having this spell on will only make us lose more hp (maybe except when tanking epics...)

Well, I would just like to point out the fact that it now takes 2 healers ( yes 2 healers ) in eof zones. I know previously to the expansion i could sometime depending on the zone not even need a healer through entire instances, at level 70. 1 fury and inqui works best for me to tank mistmoore. And even then sometimes through the fights i go from full health to in the red, resulting in self healing / big heals to get me back up again. As far as avoidance, I seriously get hit entirely too much and for big big hits.. I'm not talking 1 - 2k .. im talking 3 - 4k at times.. WOW! I dunno yall, seems like sony needs to do some kind of tweaking, but what I am sure of "tweaking is called for". Unless everything is in fact working as intended.. but hey, even if it wasn't sony would never admit to it. Heh, i remember back when i played eq1 when sony first took over, after buying the rights from verant.. s h ii t was [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]ed up.. crazy server side lag, i would go talk to them about it, to try and figure out what was wrong. They would always tell me "It's your computer, or your isp". it was funny..

Message Edited by kittypacker on 11-20-2006 05:07 AM

/agree with vegter. Went from 3.7k mitigation without vig spirit to 3.8k mitigation with vig spirit in expansion. Dont think i can make up the 1.3k mitigation on new gear from eof...

denubis befallen

I'm sure if you check how much actual mitigation you had with the mit buff on before eof and now, it will be same; most likely higher though..

Before EoF my base defensive Mitigation with above average gear, some relic, some random fabled t7 pieces i had 3400ish mitigation. K anyway, it's the same now as it was then, with the 1 mit buff up ( not the stun mit ). So, for you to state its not true, perhaps not on your part, but is on mine. In conclusion, in some scenerios IE: people who had lower than average mitigation pre eof, I am almost certain with the new system, they actually have more of a % verses lvl. Next time states your actual arguement, rather blind comments, without any factual information. kkthx

Vegter Leeuwen wrote:
make our mit buff what it was before (1300) at master 1. we're getting droped faster than eye can register.

So far in the tanking I have done raid wise I have been pretty lucky. Havn't been owned yet (helps to have 9500 hp unbuffed). But it sure is harder then before and I thought it would be better for us. SOE Avoidance tanking doesn't work. Yes, you have made it a factor. But your thinking is flawed. Just because a mob might miss me twice in a situation where plate would get hit doesn't make up for the fact that the mob hits you thrice as hard.

I suspect you an intelligent enough person to figure that, even if you are snippy. Next time try not to make blind statements about everyone when you already knew the statement was false for EVERYONE. kkthnx
