So I was looking at the Sacrifice line and I realized that the first selection is my level 6 intervene, the second selection is my level 20 upgrade Intercept, and then the final choice is my final skill.  And if I want Soak Hit, I have to put into all three of those choices. So as a level 70 bruiser ... do I really get any benefit at all from putting those 3 points into Intervene and Intercept ... or are they just there to eat up some points so I should just be looking Intercede as costing 6 points to open up and at Soak Hit as a 10 point cost (9 plus the 1)?<div></div>

the good thing about those lines is the 10% HP at the end.  I havent been able to use those skill enough to warrant the 3upgrades to any resonable use<div></div>

You also only get that 10% while using the intervene skills. I wouldnt even bother with this line unless youre going to focus on being primarily a MT most of the time.

Thanks everyone for confirming what I thought.  I didn't really intend to go that route but was curious about the mechanics of it.<div></div>

Then again, sacrifice line is small, only requires 9 points pre-req for the final skill, so you'll still have 41 points to put elsewhere.

Soak Hit is a huge ability ... just requires some extra work on your part as the MT to keep active.  The extra hit points you can have for each fight is worth more than a small chance to absord a hit with Retribution of Stone, in my opinion.  Really, you're paying 10 points for this + decreased reuse timer on Intercede -- that's not a bad deal, since Interceding should be one of your primary roles when you're not the MT.<div></div>
