I have just started a bruiser, and I've noticed that pretty much all other bruisers I've seen so far use fist weapons (and in some cases a fist weapon+a baton). I was wondering why no one uses 2H crushing weapons?

Is there something about the fist weapon that that makes it superior to all other crushing weapons?

Message Edited by Piquet75 on 11-13-2006 11:54 AM

Message Edited by Piquet75 on 11-13-2006 11:58 AM

You can have two proccing weapons if you dual wield, as compared to only one proccing weapon if you single wield. Also, the combined stats of two dw weapons often exceeds that of a 2hander. With that said, however, there are many advantages to 2handing it. SK mobs have damage shields, as do a very limited number of high end encounters (corsolander, and a couple others), and in those cases a slower weapon (ie 2hander) is much more beneficial. Also, if you're tanking, a 2hander is often better because you get riposted less. Also, 2handers are typically better for critting with, because the min/max damage range of dw is typically standardized at 3.0 or very close, and with 2handers you can get much greater variation.
