So far my PvP experience has been mostly myself being ganked in the commonlands by Q Rangers, over and over again. My question is, for a bruiser on a pvp server, what are some tips for skills that I should be using to kill others, as well as my AA path in order to actually participate actively in pvp.Should I go for the unarmed path, or actually spend money on some weapons.I'm really clueless

If you're still in the Commonlands then you probably don't have enough AA points to make a difference either way just yet. Having said that, I found that going the STR route allowed me to channel all my funds into upgrading spells and armour - and as I don't craft or harvest, money was at a premium.

Totems are your friend - a chameleon to invis, a butterfly to see steathers and a wolf to help you catch em.

Get the best ranged ammo you can afford and use it only for PvP - use tin for PvE pulls.

Try to stun your opponent ASAP and keep 'em stunned as best you can. Because the STR AA gives you better autoattack damage, you can afford to space your CAs a little more.

Try and save a stun for when they try to evac/run.

Load up on as many resists as you can - potions are a good thing.

As someone who has soloed a LOT in PvP (lvl 69 atm) I can tell you that Bruisers can solo fairly well for a non-scout class. However, if you really want to enjoy your PvP make friends with a Warden or a Defiler. :smileyvery-happy:

Finally - keep your [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]ing eyes peeled all the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]ing time!

Wait until you get bigger...you'll be running around wondering why the silly scouts don't attack you solo anymore. And when they do...you'll be standing over thier body saying "what a stupid scout, he actually thought he could kill me."

That's if you can keep them from evac or zoning.

Agree with everything said.

At lvl 24 Scouts get evac. So you are at an extreme disadvantage. Load up on your knockbacks - one after another - they can't cast if their sitting on their can.

One note - is get your pvp faction now. Try to resist the urge to lvl up - as it is much easier to get your titles and faction now as opposed to later.

PVP - is often times at that lvl getting the first jump on someone. So the invis totems are really handy for that.

Try to pvp with a scout (for track)and a class that can root. Basically offsetting our class weaknesses.

PVP in groups at that lvl can be a lot of FUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN.

If your hurting for gear and money and somehow keep getting violated by scouts (/sigh), go take a run in Splitpaw for some cash and gear, and maybe a level or 2. This will also allow you (once you completed 3 quests) to teleport to TS anytime the timer is open.

Another PvP bruser here, a beautifull part of our class is that once you get your mount, preferably a 40% + one, you are nearly invulnerable if you do not want to engage... get your master 1 for your self heal and you can almost run through a raid of Qs and just giggle at them.

I usually wait with my stuns until the scout is down to like 40% HPs. They usually don't run/evac before that. Then I use all my stuns and high damage attacks to kill them. If you're still in CL, then you're missing your stun line that starts at level 30. It will help a lot. Finnster
