I went with a Halfing and betrayed him to freeport.I am now a firey red head hafling bruiser Reno Raine "The Scarlet thug"I dont think i could have chosen a better class to enjoy I find it hilarious when a Halfling is leading a group being the main tank =D

Kerra. I like how as felines they're naturally graceful and agile, but also powerful and potentially vicious. I could imagine them abandoning weapons in the heat of the moment to fight as nature intended them to - hand to hand. They also have good beginning stats. I went with a tiger pattern and black/white fur

I chose iksar bruiser... throwback from my EQ1 character.

See.. in eq1 the only people who could be monks were Humans for the longest time, until one day, they introduced the Iksar and they had an actual bruiserish background of a monk class (followers of the god of PAIN.. I mean, c'mon!). So I rolled up a new iksar monk to start playing.

Then I got sick of the game and left it.

Now that EQ2 comes around, fixing a lot of the issues I had with the first game (I could solo as a fighter and NOT have to wait 20 minutes between each fight healing, or bring up bandage wounds, gah!), and I figured I had the most fun with my Iksar Monk in eq1, so I'll do the same here.

I think I was a Bruiser at heart, even before there was Bruisers... so it just kind of fell in place.

That, and the only hat that Iksars look good in are the Brawler class hat. The rest are just stupid.

Although I do carry around a kerra petrified eye with me... I'll sometimes turn into a white (with light grey/brown spots) kerra. If I have the hat off, I have every piece of piercing and eyepatch adornment known to man, heh.
Good to confuse others once in a while.. keeps them on their toes.

I went with human based on the look. I was playing a monk before and had him up to lvl 26 but just couldn't get behind him. So I scrapped him and re-rolled a Bruiser. Made him look similar to me. I LOVE playing my Bruiser and I can solo for hours on end with him and never have to worry. I thought about choosing a gnome at first, cause that just seemed humorous to me, but I'm happy with what I chose.

Went with Iksar Bruiser here, I was going to do ogre but the pre SOGA look just looked plain bad. I use petrified ogre eye alot now!

Iksar of course. Who else is savage enough to be a real bruiser. A pity I cant use my claws and teeths to rip the flesh of my enemies though. I want to bathe in the blood and eat the still beating hearts after I´ve ripped em out of the bodies. Btw dont u think bruisers should have a headbutt ca line? Would love to headbutt the mobs on the nose or the balls depending on the size ofc.

Morx 70 bruiser RE

Its all preference unless you like to min/max.

Then I would say Ogre/Barbarian is a good choice.

Well I'm crossed up. I'm either going with a pink froglock and betraying on nagafen or my usual dark elf. I just can't decide. I really like the froglock fighting style though, kind of back hand slaps for auto attack. I [Removed for Content] just watching him play. Not sure though.

Nadezhda is a wood elf bruiser and I picked wood elf because she is a character of mine from EQ1 who was, obviously, wood elf.I also like to see 'kindly' races turn to the dark side or 'dark' races go for the good. All my characters have betrayed their starting cities and turned over a new leaf.I also think that wood elfs look best in the gi's offered (though I didn't know about Gi's when I made Nadezhda way back in the day).

I went troll bruiser.

On another note, I love my bruiser and just shelved my 70 Ranger I have been playing since day one. The bruiser is way more versitale. I already am getting group invites when I log on so much faster than going LFG with my Ranger for hours and hours.

I wen't with a Barbarian bruiser, based on starting stats and racial traits He's great, but if I had it to do over I'd roll a girl Iksar Bruiser. They've got good stats/traits for bruiser too, and they definitely don't have the 'big goon' look of a 7-foot guy with a ponytail...I guess I had Steven Segal as my mental image - ooops!!

I went with a female Dark Elf, with the model size set to the smallest possible. I find it amusing to be a tiny little femme who throws people around like Tito Ortiz.

I rolled a Dark Elf Female cause I've always been into dark elfs, or Drow as they're known in the DnD world. And went bruiser because, well... because I can Really though, not sure I'd end up being a bruiser back then, I was planning on betraying to be a monk but a friend convinced me to stay in Freeport and so I did. Can't say I made the wrong decision

If anyone's gonna walk into a bar and break every arm in the place, it'll be a dark elf.The rest are just posers.

I picked human. Probably because I am an old school EQ'er and just a n00b EQ2'er. I really am not sure if it makes much of a difference here or not what you pick, but in EQ1 it did. Humans are usually a safe bet for bruiser - balanced stats - not too bulky or weak - not too dumb or smart - just average - but that works for a bruiser. It would seem odd to be anything else - other than perhaps - an iksar, but i don't like playing the non-humanoid races.

I made mine an Ogre because I like the look of a hulking goon. I also have a Frog Monk. It just seemed fitting, and the way they do a little frontflip when they kick is cool. Regardless, I'm liking my bruiser better, both in class and race

I play an Iksar bruiser, he's all white and looks like one of those rare white crocodiles that travel from zoo to zoo, I really like his looks, he looks really savage and tough.

I choose a Ratonga. The initial stats dont matter to me. I also play on Venekor PvP. Im in the Rat Pack. Which intially started as a Ratonga only guild. But other races have infested the rooster. No biggie.

I like being a Ratonga because when I beat a Q's butt, it is funny plus they are small and pack a huge punch.

Iksar all the way! Nothing beats an angry Iksar and the Gi's look great on em. Not to mention the racial defensive ability.

Halfling, part for the racial avoidance and hp, and part for pure style. In hindsight, as a powergamer, I'd probably go barb, or maybe ogre. Halfling is entertaining though.
