Thulian Claw

Thulian Claw is a dual wield crushind weapon that adds +2 skill to slashing.  I'm not sure what the point of this is.  Can monks use -any- slashing weapons?  If so, don't they use the crushing skill anyway? (Cesti, Katar, Etc?)<div></div>
