it mainly affects soloing single heroic mobs of a level higher or close to yours. Finnster <div></div>

<DIV>The nerf to our Mez is a hard hit to our soloability. Normally we can chain stun, and do alot of damage, pop a self heal if needed, and then mez the mob until our CA's are up again. This allows us to solo nearly any mob. It is very possible to keep almost any mob stunned or mezzed 90% of the fight. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> Stuns are being cut down drasticly, and so is mez. Mez is going to be almost totally worthless, and I will probably just remove it from my hotbar. The damage reduction to our CA's is pretty extreme also, as they are hitting the highest damage abilities we have. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> Combine all these things with the fact that our CLaymore reward is totally broken, and nearly all T7 Brawler raid loot has been significantly nerfed lately... and you have the proof taht Sony hates us. </DIV>

<P>There are some classes that can solo better than us (conjuror/necros) and if you look at the pvp leader boards - Bruisers are not a top pvp class. Personally i'm [Removed for Content], though i can see where they are coming from... For one to say... I solo 75% of my time if i'm not raiding, and yes, i can kill lvl 67-69 named mobs without much of a struggle (certain ones that is, many i get womped by) So it is getting me mad, BUT!! during raids i usually parse pretty high, usually right behidn our necro's and our assassin, yes, though i love the damage, it is TOO good (take into effect that only 2 of my moves arent master I) But that is high for being a "well rounded class" especially when i can tank HoF pretty easily, and out dpsing rangers, conj. brigands, and all those things.. So we are a class that can tank awesomely, and dps higher than most real dps. plus a awesome person for grouping cause if MT loses aggro, i just keep the mob stunned from hitting the "mage" (meaning any dps class) that took aggro so it doesnt die.. umm.. HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

My feelings though is that it's not going to make the chanter a "required" class. By required I mean that in a normal xp group you want a tank and a healer, the rest is up for grabs.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Chanters are handy to have around already, not only are the nice in an emergency but they give awesome regeneration rates. I honestly can't see anybody saying "crap we need a chanter cause my stuns are shorter." I could understand one nerf at a time, see how it plays out and then add more as needed. Not 5-7 nerfs in total - and then say nothing to the Bruiser community in where they ultimately want to see us as a class.</P> <P>Also I want to add one thing - I notice a lot of Bruisers with binders on, meaning just because you are lvl 70 and the change doesn't affect you doesn't mean that you forget about the other hundreds of Bruisers who are lvl 20-50 who need mezz (or liked it) for soloing. <DIV>the bruiser nerfs are pathetic to me mostly because they were so predictable. eq1 monks could tank and do dps, soe takes about 4 years to decide to remove tanking from the equation and upset a huge chunk of players.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>fastforward, eq 2 bruisers can tank and do dps, soe wait 2 years ish, to remove dps (or at least reduce it) from the equation and upset a smaller but still sizeable chunk of players.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>there was at least some excuse in eq 1 for not seeing the potential problem, eq 2 however they have no excuse, its just simple bad planning. i dont hate em, i just got zero respect for thier abilities to make a choice and stick with it. i honestly mean it, if they came up with a plan for each class and stuck it out id go with it, no complaints. i want to play the game thats designed by game designers not thats switched around weekly based on who whines about what</DIV>
