<DIV>Hi all, wondering if I can get any helpful advice on my bruiser.  She's currently lvl 62, and is my main.  She's a broke bruiser - never seems to have more than 2 plat to rub together, and is not in a raiding guild - so any upgrades pretty much have to be purchased.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Right now she's in a rare situation - she actually has managed to save 9pp, and I want to spend it wisely.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Unfortunately, most of her CA's are only of Adept 1 quality.  She does have one spongy loam in the bank.  She has the Hammer of Formation in her primary and Strifewing Clawed Fists in the offhand.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Here is the question:  Should I spend her money on rares for adept 3's (doubtful I will have the playtime to harvest much - I'd rather be leveling with the little time I have), or on the Flapping Wing 2 hander that I have heard is so fabulous ?  Also, which spells are the most important to upgrade to Adept 3 through lvl 70 (assuming she can only afford just a few at first), and which is the wisest choice for the Master ability at lvl 64?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Finally if she is ALMOST ALWAYS dps (group often w/ a higher lvl guardian), which AA's would be best?  Would it be worth switching to the 2h flapping wing for that aa line?  Or stick with fist weapons for the int line?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sorry for all the questions, and please no comments about how I got to this level knowing so little.  Until this character, I spent 5 years as a chanter - I'm just far more familiar with robes and spells than weapons and combat arts - but it sure is a lot nicer being able to take a beating! </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks for any help!!!!!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P>One thing you might consider if your grouping with a Guardian, is going the Str AA Line. You won't have to worry about weapons (its all Bare Hand) and coupled with the Int Line you can do some rather nasty damage using just your fists. I respec'd my Bruiser to Str/Int and the difference in damage between the weapons I used and my fists were pretty huge.</P> <P>Just some food for though.. mileage may very because my Bruiser is a Barbarian</P> <P> </P> <P> </P>

<DIV>Not sure what the market is like on your server, but on mine 9p would get you 3-4 CA's. This is with you buying the rare and then paying someone to make the spell for you. I personally would go with the Flapping Wing over the CA's. Since you are not in a raiding guild it is doubtful you will get a weapon better than the Flapping Wing in T7. You could always harvest for rares once you are 70. Assuming you get the Flapping Wing the best AA combo I have read and tried myself is going 4/4/8 in stamina, wisdom and intelligence.  As far as the loam in the bank I would get the Mixed Stance made, I use this over the Offensive stance because the damage difference is marginal and if the mob turns on me I can tank reasonably out of the Mixed stance. As for the Master 2 choice I dont remeber all the selections..I think I took hundred hand punch but that was because I already had the dps mod Master1..so my pick would be the Dps mod here.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ff0000>Kainn ~ 70 Bruiser</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ff0000>Everfrost ~ "The Horde"</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ff0000>Been there, Seen that, Been killed by it, Came back and kicked it's [Removed for Content]!</FONT></DIV><p>Message Edited by BigRed1 on <span class=date_text>05-23-2006</span> <span class=time_text>11:27 AM</span>

<DIV>Right now I only have 5 AA points.  So taking your advice, I'm thinking maybe I should stick with my 2 weapons I have for right now, and spend part of my money on the Ghostly Wraps of Torment that I'm DYING to get at 64.  (The lowest I've seen that on my server is 5pp).  I'll admit, it's mostly for the look, but I am a woman afterall, and it's important to look good while killing things.  :smileytongue:  Right now I have the Gi of the Ashen Disciple.  Love the look, but the stats are getting pretty weak. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Then when I rack up more AA's, I can either go bare fisted with the Str/Int line, or save up more money for the Flapping Wing (cheapest I've seen is 10pp) and go Sta/Wis/Int.  Two pieces of very different advice where the AA's are concerned, so it's hard to know which way to go, but I suppose I have time for that.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It definately sounds like I should save my money on the Spongy Loam for now and wait to harvest some if i can after I've leveled up.  I suppose I'll have more time for it then. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As far as the master choice and loam I currently have...  dps mod on the master (do you happen to remember the name of that art?), and either dual stance or 100 hand on the loam? Or the other way around?  I used to go dual stance a lot, but recently I am almost always in offensive.  I almost never tank - that's about the only time I go dual stance (easier holding agro than in defensive).  When the guardian does lose agro - other than him giving me a hard time in teamspeak, it doesn't really hurt me too much - FD is my friend.  :smileyhappy:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thank you both for the advice... you've really helped a lot!!!</DIV>
