At the end of the Agi aa line is the ability to "teleport to your enemy with a crit on next attack" or something like that. Anyone who's tried this out care to give any input on it's usefulness? I have a few specific questions:1. Range? How far can we actually teleport? is it like 5 feet or 100? 2. Recharge timer? I know I could look at the aa screen to find this out, but I can't get into the game atm cause I'm working3. Any intresting uses for it? Thanks bruisers,~Mal<div></div>

<DIV>Pretty sure it's a 35meter range ( Just a little more than standard Ranged Attacks) and a 3 minute recast. </DIV>

Wow 3 minutes? that's pretty harsh for a "fun" ability. But I guess it serves a purpose, just not a required one. Thanks for the info,~Mal<div></div>

Slightly different topic, but anybody think it wise/unwise to just save my AP's up till the new expansion hits and we find out what they're doing with them? I've got 1 spent and 3 saved at the moment. But I'm only lvl 50 right now.~Mal<div></div>

<DIV>Mantis Leap isn't really a "Fun" ability, as much as it's a "PvP" Ability.   has LOADS of utility in pvp when people try to run from you. </DIV>

Good point. I did start a bruiser on Vox but I'm not sure I'm cut out for pvp. I'd make a better zerker I think <span>:robotmad:</span> Not that I get angry when I die, it's when I get ganked repeadedly by high lvls who run around wtih low levels to pvp enable me.I got a Fury to 24 on Nag and that was pretty fun, but harder when you're the main target of every opposing player's attacks. For some reason they dont like healers heh.<div></div>

Sonic Fists is great in PvP and I can only assume Mantis Leap will be even better since you don't teleport back at the end of it. I'm 6 AAs away from it now!<div></div>

<font face="Century"><font size="4"><font color="#ffff66">Aye this is my sticking point... For PvP, if it teleports and you STAY at the new coordinates (as opposed to Sonic Fist that pops you back away from your target) then aye this will ROCK for PvP.Anyone with Mantis Leap been able to test it? is it different from Sonic Fist???</font></font></font><div></div>

I originally thought I would love this for pvp, but after some thought I wonder how much it will help vs. a fleeing opponent.  Since you still have the problem of not hitting people right in front of your face, I was wondering if investing in the root/spin skill in the INT line may be more worthwile for instance(just talking pvp here).<div></div>

Ah you're right it is the sta line. It make more sense to be an agility thing but yea. I wrote the post while I was working so couldn't really tell <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<font face="Century"><font size="4"><font color="#ffff66">OK I just respeced to get it and I have to say I LOVE IT FOR PVP!!!!!Waaayyy better than sonic fists. It's a 30meter warp, INSTANTLY, to your target, and you don't warp back afterwards (horrid feature of Sonic Fists for pvp). Say, for instance someone you're chasing across the zone. I macro'd it with my intimidate line and when I warp to target I mez them. Gives groupies a chance to close to get credit and wail away. Just today I have 9 kills I can credit to this little baby. Also, for the next 10 seconds every hit you make is a crit. Nuff said <span>:smileyhappy:</span></font></font></font><div></div>

<div></div>Wow it works for the whole 10 seconds?  I was under the impression only the first hit cit, cool!  Thanks for the feedback, I think I'll definately spec this for pvp when I get the chance.  While we're talking about the sta line, how effective would you say the sta drain is on the ranged attack?  If you use it as an opener, are fights noticeably different or not so much (assuming 8 points invested)?

<DIV>I have the STA debuff maxxed and it's nice.    Not that nice for pvp I think, but still nice.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>   at rank 8, if I maintain it on an epic mob the entire fight, it removes approx 12% of the mobss HP.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>  On a player it should do about the same, but it won't be as noticeable, because each point of Stamina adds up to less HP per point on a player than on an epic mob. </DIV>

10 seconds worth of critz? So every minute for 10 seconds basically we can add quite a heafty bit of dmg, thats kinda cool. I might try that for pve still. Wouldn't be bad for soloing. All our other good CA's are on 1m timers sot his would come up right in time to do it again.<div></div>

Yep, this little skill is way worth it for pvp, I am currently going STR with my pvp monk but as soon as I get 25 AA's I will be respecing to this line.:smileyhappy:
