<DIV>So I FINALLY spent the money and had a pair of Pristine Imbued Ebony Fighting Batons made.  I did this because I'm doing the AGILITY line in Achievements (baton flurry is your friend).  4 plat spent on the wood and the work, I attune...equip, and sell off my Ironwood batons, which I've been using since level 50.  Then I hit Tenebrous Tangle and start fighting only to find that the <FONT color=#ff0000>Tier 7 WOOD BATONS ARE CONSIDERED HAMMERS?!!??!!!</FONT>  Since when?  And more to the point, WHY?  There's no metal in them, if they were wooden hammers they'd at least be called Mallets. I should be able to use any BATON in my BATON FLURRY.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#66ff00>Please, please, please tell me this is a mistake Sony's planning to fix.</FONT></DIV>

Baton Flurry is useless anyway. When was the last time you got the message "Havn't recovered yet"? There seems to be a lot of confusion about this AA.Recovery=Time in between casting spells.  Take a look its low anyway less then a second.Recast= Actualy time it takes a spell to regen so you can cast it again.The best you are going to get is an 8% reduction in recasting w/ Ambidexterity.<div></div>

<P>I could swear I saw an update note saying they were fixing this....</P> <P>Just looked.  Found in the Test Update 23 notes the folllowing:</P> <P><FONT color=#ffff00>- Rosewood and Ebony Fighting Batons are now classified as staves instead of hammers.</FONT></P> <P>*But* that same line does NOT appear in the Live Update 23 notes.  And apparently didn't make it into the game, since they still display as hammers to you.  At least they are aware of the problem, it would seem.  Now they just need to fix it.</P>
