Bruiser or Coercer for soloing exp and named mobs?

Bruisers probably solo faster and kill the named faster, however Coercers have a lot less risk involved while killing nameds. However, both can do it, so it's just a matter of how you want to go about, whether it's by meleeing, or by nuking/reactives/stuff.

A good coercer could solo xp faster then a bruiser. There a few specific tactics they can use that rock.

<DIV>Coercer is far better... with how they solo you can hit 60 in a few weeks. Plus they can take on just about any named I have seen so far in game.. Hell I watched on solo names in HoF just the other night... now it took a year and a day but he did it.  I got mine to 20 in 2 hours.. You can hit 50 in about 2 weeks. </DIV>

Don't get the wrong impression.. It takes skill with either class to take on names solo.. But once you get it down all that stuff above rings true. I've parked my 70 bruiser in favor of my coercer alt simply because of what it can do..

I find my bruiser has little problem soloing or taking on most named mobs I come across.  I've soloed to 57 in under 2 months, usually playing 3-4 hours a day.  My fiancee gets [Removed for Content] when her lvl 47 Berserker wearing good gear for her level dies to a group of blue con non-heroic mobs while I plow through an even-yellow con group of mobs. <div></div>

<DIV>I actually play a 70 bruiser and a 70 coercer.  I will have to agree with Cal, my coercer is much slower, but will invariably win against any named I fight, be it green or orange, provided certain conditions are met.  My bruiser is a solo quest master... the skills and abilities allow me to solo heroics up to 2 levels below me, but the power regen is an issue...  I find that I can't find as much FT on items that give me desirable stats, and so in turn have an absolute cap on my pimpage.  But the ability to stay alive is definitely nice...  I guess if named are a point of contention on your list of things to do I would reccomend the coercer.  If you're a quester, definitely go the way of the bruiser.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Senelin Venelitus</DIV> <DIV>70 froglok coercer</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Skerchak Chak'Attak</DIV> <DIV>70 ratonga bruiser</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Everfrost</DIV>
