Level 50-59 Equipment

<DIV>I see occasional postings on this from time to time, but unfortunately they're hard to search for, so I apologize in advance for a redundant question:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Almost ready to hit 54.  I primarily MT for my very small guild, and at the turn of 40 I equipped myself with all pristine/pristine-imbued.  Now that I'm almost to 54, I've looked into player-crafted stuff, but there's just not a significant jump in stats to justify the cost (IMO).  I'm still using a set of Thulian Claws that I got somewhere in the 30s for goodness sakes.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Question is:  What am I missing?  There's bound to be better armour/weapons out there that I haven't found/seen - can anyone make any suggestions?  Or if I'm this close(?) to 60, should I just hang on?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks for the recommendations...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>53 Bruiser of Kithicor</DIV> <DIV>48 Defiler of Kithicor</DIV> <DIV>41 Guardian of Kithicor</DIV>

<P>I kinda like these <A href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/item.vm?itemId=121690" target=_blank>http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/item.vm?itemId=121690</A> but you might want to look at the tier 6 weapons without the imbue.</P> <P>The stats take a huge drop when imbued but the damage rating is the same. IMO I could care less if I have a weapon that procs as long as I can dish out enough damage and the stats are good.</P>

First i don't know your budget. Look into buying 2 scaled rares and having a weaponsmith make cesttiis or cestus(i say scaled cause it usually cheaper than wood batons or cobalt knuckles). Decide if that cost is worth having it for only the next 6 levels. (everyone is diffrent since everyone has diffrent amounts of money). I think rare crafted is the best value for weapons your range. <div></div>

<P>I won't say money is not an issue, but I do have two high level crafting alts, so...</P> <P>Unfortunately none of them can make any of the afore mentioned weapons - so looks like I'll have to spend a little money.</P> <P> </P> <P>Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing out on some as-good questable items.  Thanks for the info...</P>
