There is no Figher forum so ill post this in here and in the Monk forum, i am thinking of starting 1 of each, Bruiser or Monk, but does anyone know wich 1 who solo best?,, would like a nice soloer, i have a necro but i dont like it so much, they are good soloer, but just not my type of class... Monk and Bruiser are probably alike, when it comes to soloing, but i dunno, thats why i ask

Thx

So for solo, I would go for Bruiser (making comment on healing self part), Bruisers having much more damage CA's however slow compared to monks fast but low damage CA's. Bruisers sacrifice health for more mitigation, monks sacrifice health for more haste.

Ofcourse you might be aware of you can't be Bruiser in Qeynos, or Monk in Freeport, so that's completely different factor.

Message Edited by selch on 04-18-2006 01:55 PM

Make up your bruiser and keep em geared right and you'll never look back. I made one up post revamp, after deleting a disappointing monk..just for fun mind you, not serious at all. Spent a long time in FG killing names for loot. Spent a bit of time in RoV ..again killing names..bumped around, played around, ended up in RE for 10lvls killing names for loot. Left there for CT. At 55 I headed to Clefts and PoF and before I knew it was 60 in TT. This is by far the funnest farmer I have ever made, and in most instances the safest. All told my played time aint much either, leveling just ..well flowed, even solo, just a farming away. As a main raid Necro, I gotta say, tis great to wackity wack a bit after a good night on the big boys :smileywink:

something to consider is the combat animations for hand to hand. While most it doesnt bother, it bothered me enough to restart my level 28 monk as a bruiser. Monks look like they are surfing instead of fighting, while bruisers look like boxers

Brusiers are the better of the 2 for soloing for 3 reasons

Our Heal is on lower timer

We have Mez

We have fear

Enough to give us the upperhand with solo
