<div>Well, I decided that providing more to a raid was more important than having the typical DPS setup for AA's, so I respecced to include Altruism. While I will admit that it's a very nice ability, I don't like the other AGI line abilities you get. But heres my thought on Altruism thus far:</div><div> </div><div> Doesn't save from certain death types, IE Falling damage, or Lava. but other than that it will alwasy FD the target and leave then with 5% health. </div><div> </div><div>Typically you will have this on the MT, or possibly a necromancer who is gonna go buckwild, and pull aggro he he he.</div><div> </div><div>if on the MT, and he gets damage spiked and dies, typically the mob will kill someoen in teh MT group, IE a bard of healer usually from what I have seen. by that time you hope that heals will have caught up, and the MT can get up. He immediatley has the same hate position when getting up, and most of the time the fight will go back to normal, and you can recover easily. </div><div> </div><div> Nasty DOTs and AoE can still kill the person after they FD. </div><div> </div><div>Usually though, this ability is pretty nice, and has helped my guild prevent a few raid wipes. </div><div> </div><div>It's also nice because it stays up forver until you die, or the target dies and FD's. (Or if they leave group or log). </div><div> </div><div>ANyways, I'm not sure it's worth 24 AA points for everyone just to get it, but if you want to help potentially save a raid, you may wanna check it out. </div>

<div></div>Sounds like a good choice. It would be nice to respec and rotate this AA every so often with another brawler guildmate.<div></div><p>Message Edited by ganjookie on <span class="date_text">04-02-2006</span><span class="time_text">01:41 AM</span></p>

<div></div>I did this one also, and worked out pretty nice. I wouldnt put it on a necro though since they already have an FD and if their pet dies they should be ready for some kind of aggro.

<div>Yeah, I was using that as an example because necros can dps like gods. I used on a zerker today befor ethe good old Open Woulds / Rampage combo, and he dps'd like crazy, then FD'd when they tried to kill him. He told me he loved me. </div>

<div></div>Quick question Crabb/Anyone else who got this. Whats the info on the skill as far as recast goes? 10 or 15 minute recast and permanent duration or is it a lower recast?

As a follow up question to the one just asked, is the recast timer started when it is cast or when the effect is used?<div></div>

it's 15 minute toggle recast time. i.e. recast time starts when either: you die, target dies, you click the buff off, buff gets used, or if otherwise cancelled like logging off or leaving raid.Finnster<div></div>
