<div>lv 53 currently and could use some advice. Backround : Casual player, Not a raider, Mostly solo, Currently wearing lv 40 rare leather, rare dolls, average jewelery. Like to quest.</div><div> </div><div>Equipment: What should I be looking to buy. Lv 50 rare seemed to lack a significant upgarde to my Lv 40 compared to the additional cost to replace. Should I upgrade anyway. or wait till Lv.60</div><div> </div><div>Quest: Are there some specific quests that just make sense we complete in our 50s.</div><div> </div><div>Spells: What should I look to upgrade? All? Maybe all should at least be Adept3? </div><div> </div><div>Progression: Should I take my time lv. 50 - 60 cause there is just a bunch of cool stuff to do at that lv? Or just plow through cause 60-70 is were the action is? Are there some things at this lv I just should not skip?</div><div> </div><div>Actually anything at all I should consider as my Bruiser progresses to lv. 60.</div><div> </div><div>Thanks</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div>

<div></div><p><font color="#ffff00">I really really enjoyed leveling in my 50's. My playstyle is very similar to yours, as well. That being said, your armor is fine. The rare crafted is the best easy to obtain armor for you. You might want to check the broker, because there might be other treasured/legendary armor that you can get cheap because t7 (60+) items are more common. (...and many times better than t6.) For ideas on equipment, check the two stickied threads T6 & T7 legendary equip.</font></p><p><a href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=quest&message.id=89746#M89746" target="_blank">http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=quest&message.id=89746#M89746</a> <font color="#ffff00">This is to a list of DOF questlines, including peacock, which you can do many of solo. DEFINATELY do the ashen order timeline, its decent xp and you can solo a lot of it. Since you are 53, you will need help towards the end, where you get a title "the Ebon Dragon" if you went ashen disciples, or "the Jade Tiger" if you went ashen order.</font></p><p><font color="#ffff00">Spells. Make sure you get your Ancient Teachings spells, as they arent just given to you when you attain each level. They are <font color="#f0e1de"><font color="#ffff00">Stone Deaf (lvl 52) </font><font color="#ffff00">Sonic Fists (lvl 55) </font></font><font color="#ffff00">Close Mind (lvl 5<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></font></font></p>

<div></div><font color="#ffff00">You should be able to get them from most high level Alchemists. Theres no difference in quality except for close mind, which loses a touch of duration for an adept III, vs a Master I.</font>

<div>definately upgrade to t6 rare crafted armor and weapons. For the armor, get at least the chest and pants. These pieces only see a slight upgrade going into t7, so they will hold over a few levels, but they will be key for you. Bracers and shoulders are also not a bad idea, altho there are some good shoulders available in Clefts (with a small x2 pickup raid, or higher level single group) - Wishbringer something or another.</div>

My Master 1 version is still as buggy as my adept 3 was, meaning 1/3rd of the time you won't port or do damage but still lose 100 power because a small hill or bump is blocking the path to the mob, so the spell quality doesn't address that issue. Unless you have extra plat laying around, I would try to find an adept 1 for it on the broker because it's not really useful in a lot of situations.</p><p>-Kald, 70 Bruiser Permafrost</p>
