- The proc on the Manacles of Dark Sky will now process less frequently and has a slightly shorter duration.Bruiser changes:- Crash's knockdown effect no longer affects epic creatures.- Staggering Stance will now expire if the ally it was cast on is no longer present. The target must now be another player.- Close Mind's duration is now determined by the quality tier of the spell. The Master I version is required to achieve the full duration
we knew about the close mind. We lose some AGI while solo. It was nice being able to use manacles to keep a mob stifled when it wasn't stunned. Crap happens but nothing that is gonna break us. Oh and also the avd buff thing was nerfed for all fighters

Could be worse they could of nerfed our procs making our off stance suck... wait wrong LU
Message Edited by PhozFate on 03-23-200608:15 AM

Well to add to the nerf were getting you now have the class that was supposedly the cause of the proc nerf getting buffed really well.http://eqiiforums.soe.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=pvp&message.id=41520&jump=true#M41520

As for us. How much dps are we really supposed to do? even after the proc nerf i still out dps other fighters (can't speak for monks, don't group with them. but there is a whole thread on that subject debating). SKs and zerkers gimmie a run for my money on AE encounters due to thier nice AEs.With all the AA tweaks it would of been nice to gain some defense somewhere thou. I'm disappointed about that but i never expect it either.

Some agility? Try more than 60. At first, I was pretty mad about this, because I solo a LOT. But then I realized exactly how little agility means to our avoidance. Im not so steamed anymore. We we pretty heavily "adjusted" with the change to rangers procs, I want OUR buffs now, please. :smileyindifferent:

We should do more damage than any other fighter, which in most cases we do. Although we hold aggro thru damage as other fighter classes have more options. Alot of other classes look at bruiser as more of a class that can hold agro, rather than a tank. The other night scout class (think it was a dirge) asked to tank. I was tired and was curious if he could so I said sure. He was self buffed to 80% avoidance and has more mitigation then me. Needless to say he did great and we had almost zero downtime. Beyond only having one taunt it seems that he was a better choice for the job. So basically where does that leave the bruiser. Now other fighters can hit 70% avoidance with a sick amount of mitigation, and then we have scouts that also seem to be just as effective. That leaves the bruiser that still gets 2 shot very often and lack luster dps. Kinda makes you wonder where were suppose to fit in.

It should be noted that all classes that got a buff from casting something on a group member had this change happen. No more Martial Order for Monks (+10 deflection OUCH!), etc etc

Since they are "Fixing" things, why dont they fix our offensive stance issues, since the proc on it is a joke atm, and in no way does it equal the monks haste benefit.

Tzing
