<div>Under the sticky uptop - Bruiser Combat Arts - The Upgrade Line</div><div> </div><div>it lists Master Trianing II (is that the same as Specialized trasining) I'm assuming it is.</div><div> </div><div>- are the effects that are listed, ie:</div><div> </div><div>The Master II Training Choices: (290 STR Based)Level 14:-Brag: Increase Threat 133 - 163 Resistability: 48%-Burn Through: Inflicts 53 - 89 melee damage on target.  Inflicts 24 heat damage on target instantly every 6 seconds. Resistability: 31%-Dodge and Strike: Increase STR of caster by 17.2.  Increase AGI of Caster by 26.-Shoulder Charge: Inflicts 35 - 106 crushing damage on target. Applies knockdown. Lasts for 4 seconds. Resistability: 31%</div><div> </div><div>1) Are the effects listed at the first tier or if you had them maxxed out?</div><div> </div><div>2) Is Shoulder Charge worth upgrading for pvp (longer knockdown?) or should I take Dodge and Strike?</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div>

<div></div><p>For PVP I'm not really sure which would be best. However, Shoulder Charges duration of the stun does not increase per-upgrade, or level of the skill.</p>

<div>I would take the knockdown for the bonus resist difficulty in PvP.</div>

<div> </div><div>ah so higher lvl less chance for another player to tesist the knockdown?</div><div> </div><div>How many lvls to these are they?</div><div> </div><div>It's kind of confusing. Let me try a whack at this, even though I'm probably wrong.</div><div> </div><div>So you take Shoulder Charge at 14, your next upgrade is at 24:</div><div> </div><div>Level 24:-Whirling Blaze: Inflicts 115 - 192 melee damage on targets in area. Resistability: 31%-Jeer: 250 - 306. Resistability: 48%-Roughouse: 25% Chance, Threat by 74, Inflicts 29-48 melee damage on target.-Crash: 162 - 270, 243 - 405 Crushing Damage on target.</div><div> </div><div>So you can either upgrade Shoulder Charge again or take one of the new ones?</div><div> </div><div>Or how do you upgrade shoulder charge?</div><div> </div><div> </div>

<div>Each ability is unique, but there are "lines" of abilities that are basically the same but the numbers get bigger. I believe the average space between two CAs in a "line" is 14 levels.</div><div> </div><div>Each CA has 3 levels: apprentice, adept, and master. Within these levels are steps. Apprentice has 1-4, Adept has 1 and 3 (no ad2), and master has 1 and 2. You can only get M2 from your 10-level upgrades.</div>

For PvP you want burst damage so upgrading special attacks like Burn Through are the way to go.<div></div>

You'll have outleveled 'em before you know it.</font></p><p>Message Edited by annaspider on <span class="date_text">03-09-2006</span><span class="time_text">11:00 PM</span></p>

At 14, I took Dodge and Strike and never regretted it. More STR = more damage and larger power pool. More AGI = better Avoidance and easier to hit opponent. At 24, I took Crash, because of the high damage, but I seriously considered Roughhouse.
