Prediction of future brawler weapons

<div>Since they gave us back slash and pierce, and now wepaons list specifically who can use them, I suspect we MIGHT see something in the future like twin katanas....(Or at least monks might).  So many things lead me this way....  Look at the wurmslayer, we can use that (Thank GOD), we can use slashing and piercing weapons now taht are designed for us, as well as certain crappy generic weapons.  I saw a 2 handed spear that all fighters could use. </div><div> </div><div>  Could this possibly lead to us using swords? </div>
