View Full Version : Are we missing an epic stun?
Seems to me we had 2 stuns that landed on epics not long ago, Im I mistaken and if not, since when was it changed?Stump still does the 2 sec stun on epics but the back attack like may have changed?

Kidney punch line got nerfed, but I don't think it was ever intended to hit epics.

Callous Stomp doesn't really effect epics either, because there's no way (at least that I know of anymore) to knock epics down, so it'll never knock them down either.

-Kald, 65 Bruiser Permafrost

Stomp always worked without using Kidney Punch.Just didn't hit as often, but it did work. Dealt less damg but worked.

Stomp still does not exclude epic targets, however Kidney Punch now does.Knockback is a much lesser concern to me as the actual ability to stop damage received by a MT on an epic encounter. On any heroic encounter the question does not apply, as 4 different CAs can be applied to give more time for healers to patch up whoever is tanking when we are in DPS mode. 3 CAs when we are tanking ourselves. To me 2 epic stuns, specialy the 4 sec of Kidney Punch, was a good appeal to our class being present on any raid,With the recent change to Knockout Combination wich does not allow us to engage more mobs when our 2 Aes were down (you could technicaly use Oppress + Knockout Combination to force an additional encounter on yourself in an Add situation, without using AEs, wich are often already burned down), I think these 2 "readjustments" are reducing our polyvalence.Group encounters were hard enough to control and tank already, IMO.The appeal of the class being diversity in my book, I dont like what I'm seing.Deadstone, 70/17 Bruiser, Mistmoore***Edited to make more sense*** To me anyway

Message Edited by Arlo on 03-06-200602:01 PM
