I recently came back to EQ2 and I decided to start off fresh with a new character and I was wondering do Bruiser's get left behind in raids? It seems to me that they would and I was curious, right now I am really liking my Bruiser but I don't want to get a high level and then be sad when I am left out of raids. Thanks a ton.<div></div>

<div></div>Well I am not in the most hardcore of raiding guilds, but we do take on some t6 stuff at the moment. I have never been left out of a raid. I can contribute a lot of things. I can be a proc monkey for the casters. I can dump aggro for our assasin with fd. I can pull. As well as contribute solid dps, often outdamaging our rogues and other t2 dps. And if things really hit the fan I can offtank or maintank until the plate wearers get things under control again. We certainly are not uselessly taking up a slot in a raid.
<div></div><div>Bruisers have few shortcomings when it comes to grouping/raiding. All the benefits Ezariel mentioned along with the ability to do a decent amount of ranged damage (assuming you have the three diff types to work on all mobs). The only time you will be left behind in a raid is if you:</div><div> </div><div>a) Suck at playing your class</div><div>b) Too many ppl show up and your odd man out that time</div><div>c) Guild your in is uninformed on what we can do.</div><div> </div><div>Throw in the fact that we can solo/explore as good, if not better then any other class in the game and you will see that Bruiser is an awesome class to play.</div>
