Why that instead of two dual-wield weapons? I dunno, that's just how they were set up in days of yore. What that means is you don't attack with bare fists unless both your primary and secondary slots are empty. If you equip only one weapon and leave the other slot bare, all you're doing is cheating yourself out of one weapon.</p><p>It occurred to me that knowing the damage rating for bare fists at each level would be useful for brawlers. I'll work on that, but in the meantime I'll give you the basic facts.</p><p>Brawler bare fists are the equivalent of a store-bought 2H weapon of the brawler's level with a 2.5 delay. "Store-bought" being like the weapons you see NPC weapon vendors selling, which have no stats. In other words, they aren't something you'd want to use if you can avoid doing so. Even a basic handcrafted 2H staff of your level would be better.</p><p>However, the strength line of the brawler Achievements makes a significant difference in fighting unarmed that people are only now starting to realize. It will really manifest itself once people start putting a lot of points into it.</p><p>===========================Steve Danuser, a.k.a. [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] I knew something was fishy with this abnormal attack value when I was fighting barefisted...<div></div>

<div></div><div>Great info , you can see that they have planned big damage on fists through the STR aa's cant you :smileyvery-happy: take away the proc on the stance but make it better through AA's ... clever , and theres me thinking AA's wouldnt effect your char that much as they are basically fluff ... now where did i read that heh</div>

There is no way bare fists will be able to match the damage output for some of the AMAZING legendary t7 weapons out there, the stats themselves that those weapons give, and the AA points we spend in trees other than Str.</font>

<div>What's even worse is I'd bet this line actually has the potential to get nerfed because Monks are posting that they reach 800-1k dps (in a good group) because of the effects of their self-capped haste and this AA line.</div>

<div></div>So if im reading the mg's comment right we got our proc taken off of our stance cause no one realized how powerfull it was?  And the delay and damage makes sense for it being 2h not 1h.  It explained why I would proc more bare fisted before than with dw before nerf.   I really wish i had parsed my dps pre lu19 barefisted to show you all how powerful it was.  I guess if anyone goes str line they will know what I'm talking about.

<div></div>If you didnt clear your logs from when you were parsing, you still do have it.  Just ctrl+f and punch in a date (the way logs view dates).

<div>People have parsed unarmed vs. dual wield (before the unarmed proc was removed) for a long time, and any weapons of rare crafted quality or better consitently parsed better than unarmed. This is a problem because the ability is balanced around the fact that it can be used unarmed, so the overall value of it is diminished because it has this "neat special thing" that really isn't that neat in the end.</div><div> </div><div>So, the bruiser community asked the devs to make up their mind - is our stuff supposed to be unarmed or not? So, they removed the proc. Then they turn around and come out with this unarmed AA line, and then they change procs.</div>

<div></div>Reason I will never ever go STR path in AA's.Their are already extraordinairy weapons discovered in T7.  Weapons that are only the beginning (The Twin Calamities, Etc).  Weapons like these will out parse a "Buffed - Unarmed" setup any day time or year in EQ2.  Always.Honestly, who cares about fighting unarmed? And with stuff like that? Why would you?

<div></div><div>Completely agree with col ,  i would much rather have 2 Fabled DW like crab and liz OMG They so own !</div><div> </div><div>Why would anyone want to use barehanded (other than the obvious bruiser reason) over the stats and procs offered with these weaps ?</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>oh btw anyone noticed grizzlefangs staff DOESNT proc ?????</div><div> </div>
