<div>Hey guys - any of you 2box with your Bruiser?  I want to bring up a priest-type, and I'm curious as to which class works the best with a Bruiser (currently at level 39).  I also have a lvl41 Guard that I may also want to 2box from time to time with as well - so please take that into consideration with your comments.</div><div> </div><div>Appreciate your thoughts...</div>

Ward class prolly. Defiler is a good choice.<div></div>

I duo almost exclusively with a Fury. No complaints here.

<div></div>Defiler for me.  Most other healers in my groups fall asleep because they don't do anything.  Except for furies because they can nuke. :p

<div>I got to 50 with a Fury and it was ok.  This was pre-CU so their nukes weren't so big and the buffs worked a bit differently.</div><div>Then my wife started playing (a Fury, of course), and I mentored her to 60 ... Seemed to work a little better than the first time around.  Furies have some pretty nice melee buffs - groups procs and +DPS stuff.  The real fit comes from Furies being tuned to react to burst damage better than other healers (their bigger heals have super low casting time).  The only real damage a brawler takes is burst damage, so it works pretty well.</div><div> </div><div>The defiler/mystic path would be my second choice.  They're focused more on debuffs rather than damage, so you're going to have slightly longer but more stable fights.</div><div> </div><div>Of course, another option is to take a mage class and just tear through mobs.  If you can hold aggro enough, having a wizard following you around is pretty nice!</div><div> </div>

Defiler would be my first choice. BIG HP buff and very nice debuffs + wards are perfect imo.  Warden and fury follow up on second place (wardens have some nice single buffs, like + C/S/P/R - gives me the ability to hit high yellows regularly with def stance - and mana regen). Inquisitors are nice too, although reactives don't work that well, they can debuff a mobs C/S/P/R which in turn helps us avoid more. From non healers, illusionists used to be my favourite, now I guess it would be rogues.<div></div>

The brigand would be the bestest choice they have a far superior HEAL and DPS then any of the ones previosuly mentioned<div></div>

I think with LU20.  I was able to get to 0 HP and then used my 1337 heal to go back to full health and even evacaway from the mob!<div></div>

<div></div><p>Dou either shaman is fine msot prefer defilers.</p><p>2 boxing though druid (wardens for the win, sandstorm owns all in heroic combat) why druids for 2 boxing because well i am lazy and its easier to keep regens up then wards. Not to mention if i am truly lazy i put up my tree and heirogensis(< more power) and smash buttons w my bruiser till mob is dead.</p>

I two-box a bruiser and a necro - its a very good combination. Why waste good DPS on a healer?Bruiser can:<ul><li>Self Heal once a fight</li><li>Hold Agro well (against single-targets at least)</li><li>Keep the mobs stunned/knocked down most of the time</li></ul>Necro can:<ul><li>Heal the Bruiser</li><li>Do good sustained DPS with pets and DoTs</li><li>FD with 100% success if the bruiser dies</li><li>Rez the bruiser after that</li></ul>Its a bit more difficult dealing with crowds, but I can mez one mob with the bruiser and fear the other to buy some time.  Its challenging, but I'd rather deal with the single target mobs.We could duo level 52 heroics with some degree of difficulty at level 49.  We're both level 50 now, but haven't put it to test yet on 53's <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  Fights generally don't last long, and the only way we die is:<ul><li>if we get more than one heroic add</li><li>if the mob is a caster and can nuke consecutive times (ie if self heal and necro heals aren't enough) - generally only had that problem with named mobs though</li></ul>I do have pretty good gear, with an Adept III scout pet, not much fabled though.I rarely lose agro with the system I have, and even if I get adds, the scout can generally last a while, at least long enough for me to pull the mob off it.agressivUnrest Server<div></div>

<div></div>I've said multiple times before that I've boxed a Bruiser & Necromancer before.  It works out excellent.  I did it from the mid 30s to 60 (and made record time doing so) <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.

<div></div>Yup i didnt 2 box but i grouped with a guildie necro from lvl 20-60 <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> does work v well but i would still say defiler for the win for a 2box , wards and debufs all the way

<div></div><p>Yep, I group with a guildie Necro very often, and very handy to have around.  I wanted to lvl a healer as there are just a few healers in my guild, and I'm tired of having to beg and plead for a healer when members of the guild wants to do a dungeon, or something of the sort.</p><p>I started a defiler, up to lvl13 last nigh (mentoring my Bruiser down), and it does appear to be a good combo.  The combo of the defiler's ward and Bruiser's avoidance normally means the health bar never moves during a typical fight - giving me more time to focus on dots/DD.</p><p>Thanks for the recommendations - I'm definately enjoying the combo.</p>

<div></div><div>Necromancer & Bruiser is a combo that has to be played well.  Generally, during tough mobs (if I wasn't two boxing, my brother was playing the Necromancer right next to me) and we would be like outloud 'stunning', 'stuns spent' he goes 'stunning' we really played well together.  But if you don't have the option to play like that the combo rarely works well, sure lots of dps, heals, brute force of dps. But if you can play it fluently like that. It works extremely well.  Much faster than Defiler & Bruiser due to the sheer DPS the combo can unload.</div>

<div>i play a defiler bruiser combo since launch, works well i can take most group stuff the old fashioned way ie actually taking the hits and not just stunning the mobs to avoid the encounter altogether. sadly for grouping in eq 2 the devs feels it is worthless and dont care if it is trivialised so stuns remain, unlike epics which for some reason are sacred and must be protected from being trivialised.</div><div> </div><div>as such i can only echo what has already been said get a 2nd dps that can stun, necro works well and adds utility as well as dmg, with rez's, heals, fd and a pet for the various exploitable bugs that provides.</div><div> </div><div>i played a shaman monk duo right through 6 yrs in eq 1, compared to that sadly my defiler bruiser isnt the ultimate duo team id hoped, but still i can get through almost all but the very toughest group content, it just takes a lil longer and is no safer then the other option <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>
