<div>Howdy! I'm having an absolute blast in PvP. I've been using my taunts to prevents spells from being casted (blasted healers and their healing) and I wanted to know if knockdowns also stop casting. When I use my taunt (can't remember the name, I'm lvl 20 now, and it's the green taunt), the timer on it doesn't run fast enough for me to prevent the caster from using the spell again after I interrupt it the first time. Right now I'm relying on surprise and massive amounts of damage while blocking one healing spell to get my kills (never anything 3 lvls below and always everything above me ><img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ). If the knockdowns stop casting as well, I can hold off on using those right away and just make the combat last a little longer while I whittle away their "un-healable" health.</div><div> </div><div>mwahaha. I love it.</div><div> </div><div>Sammael - the squishy maker of all things Qeynosian</div>

<div>Knockdown is mostly just for the fun factor of seeing the opponent get knocked down... and in PvP it knocks them back a few feet...(Which could push them off a cliff or something). </div><div>Knockdown is always accompanied by a stun. Stuns to prevent Casting. Stun casters always. </div>

<div></div><p>Knockdown is followed by a stun. At lvl 20, which spell would that be? Typically I use Shoulder Charge for my knockdown and then follow it up with Rapid Swings for a bunch a damage. At that time, generally the target tries to:</p><p>A) run - and I chase if needed (unless it's a scout class with superman run - I hate Pathfinding) </p><p>B) stand there and take it (where I proceed to unleash Stamp, Burn Through, Flying Kick and Bruising Strike = death especially to mages)</p><p>C) heal - at which time I Taunt with Brag ( I think that's it, the one that prevents casting)</p><p>Right after I break that Healing though, the target is probably spamming that healing spell so it just runs when it's timer comes back which is before the timer for Brag runs. Generally I run out of power before the healer does and when that happens, it becomes a really slow fight and typically you get adds. Multiple targets on a oop Bruiser sucks.</p><p>Is there a way to break their casting before Brag recharges? Do I just not have the CA yet?</p><p> </p><p>Sammael - the squishy maker of all things Qeynosian</p>

<div>Bah... old spell names. </div><div> </div><div> Basicly you only have one ranged interrupt... your Encounter Taunt... (Green Taunt). </div><div>Additionally you can use stun attacks to continue to keep them from casting, and when you get a Mez, you can use that as well. </div>
