<div>Throughout my levels, my avoidace has gone down, I am currently level 22 and at level 17 or so I could get 60% with bouncers stance, now with that stance, I only get 45, whats going on?  My gear hasn't changed except for the AQ armor.</div>

<div></div><div>As you level your deflection and parry skills are yet to be maxed out , hence the drop in avoidance</div><div> </div><div>i.e as you level parry go's to say 44/53 once this increases your avoidance will also increase.</div><div> </div><div>Besides normal avoidace will be around 62 % higher level (solo)</div><div> </div><div>You have to remember that the higher you get the harder the mobs become aswell :smileywink:</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div>

<div>Cool, thanks, now I was looking at my skills and it says</div><div> </div><div>Defense        99/106</div><div> </div><div>but its in red, what does this mean?</div>

<div></div><div>Because its not maxed it will show as red same as any other one you dont have fully maxed :smileyvery-happy: once you get it 106/106 it will be white tbh it wont take long to max them out a few fights should see you back on track</div>

<div></div>Correct...if it's red then ther is something affecting it other than leveling. Stance etc...are reasons for this

<div></div><p>Defensive Stance reduces crushing/slashing/etc. skills.</p><p>Offensive stance reduces deflection/parry/etc. skills.</p><p>Even so, your avoidance does tend to drop as you level up unless you upgrade your gear at those levels usually a couple percent.  It was one of the annoying things to me, when I was levelling up.    When you get into your 40s, you'll get fire stance ( and later provoking stance ) which is what I use as my 'default' stance in that it ups your attacks kills *and* your deflection, without nerfing either, and still has a damage proc. </p>

<div></div><p>Also bro, keep in mind that your avoidance is a relative number.  </p><p> </p><p>At lvl 20, your avoidance % is your chance to avoid an attack from a lvl 20 mob.  lets say it's 70%.  Now you level up to 21.  Your avoidance is now your chance to avoid an attack from a lvl 21 mob.  So if your gear is the same, your avoidance will now be something like 68%, because the higher lvl mob is tougher. </p><p> </p><p> To help counteract this, the caps for your stats is raised each level, and newer gear will grats you better stats and better avoidance.  You will get new spells from time to time that will buff AGI also, so try and keep your AGility as high as possible if you want the best avoidance. </p>
