cant get a straight answer

ok ive tryed asking other places but no one can give me a straight answer, only mixed up fights. right now as it stands what class is better off fighting in pvp a monk or a bruiser or are they basicly the same in every aspect?<div></div>

<div></div><p>Well bud you have not gotten a striaght answer because there is no striaght answers, only what players feel.</p><p>Some monks will claim they are the best at pvp - some bruisers say they are, espically on a bruiser forum.</p><p>Try both and decide for yourself. For me I say Bruiser - because I am one.</p>

well i tried out a bruiser and he dodges fairly well except for the main difference i found between him and my monk is that the 1st high hitting spell u get sucks ur hp away instead of power. do all high hitting bruiser spells do this or just some?<div></div>

<div></div><p>Both monks and bruisers have one ability that uses health instead of power for doing damage. And as I recall, ours did more damage (pre LU19 is when I saw them compared).</p><p>We also both have abilities that cost health over time... ours is pretty much useless in all but the most extreme of situations (the mitigation you get would require taking a massive beating, and being healed a LOT... not a PvP ability, although anything that costs health really isn't PvP friendly).</p><p> </p><p>I think the biggest factor is that we are much more selfish in our abilities. Higher amounts of healing, but only for ourselves, whereas Monks can heal anyone at a lesser amount. That and mez and fear are very nice in PvP settings...</p>

<div></div><p>As everyone as stated theres no define answer for which class is better than the other , i have a same level guildie monk and we have a few fights a day and we are completely even its doing my head in for sure :smileyvery-happy: I would just say choose whichever you enjoy playing more i retired my monk at 54 just go so bored of him :smileysad: and started my brusier who i loved a lot more .. though with the new betrayal at any level i coulda saved 59 levels lol !!!!</p><p> </p><p>Anyways if you want to own PVP then Go Defiler or Mystic [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] warders :smileymad:</p>

i ended up chosing bruiser, thought about a wiz or pet class but the pet cets boring and the wiz has sooo many resists as i was sadly reminded on the isle<span>:smileysad:</span><div></div>
