<div>I have read alot about whether you should go wraps or like dual weld weapons. I have a question on wraps.</div><div>My Lvl 15 has an attack rating of 861 with out anything equiped.</div><div>If I equip a wrap like a Lvl 5 freeport wrap in my primary slot it goes down to 84 if I put it into my secondary slot and leave nothing in my primary my Att rating gores to 862.</div><div>I think their is something wrong with that? Anyone who could let me know either what I am missing or If thats normal. Thank you</div>

<div></div><p>I wouldnt pay to much attention to the attack rating TBH it tends to not be accurate , just go with what suits your playstyle best , ive gone weaponless , wraps , cesti , batons and 2 handers depending on how i feel , however when MT its generally recommended by most to go a two hander to lower the chance of a mob reposte IMO.</p><p>Message Edited by DarkMirrax on <span class="date_text">02-14-2006</span><span class="time_text">03:13 PM</span></p>

that riposte issue was changed a while ago. Using DW as a tank should not result in more riposte dps than 2H riposte dps anymore.I never tested this, but it was stated somewhere.Finnster<div></div>

<div>I will have to test more I guess it seemed that when I have that lower Attack rating (84) I dont hit for as much damage either. I will have to look into that more. thxs for the replies</div>

<div></div>They changed it so the shorter the delay (the faster you hit) the less chance of the mob riposte'n you.Again, the persona window tends to lie when it comes to attack rating, what exactly you are at. Their seems to be a bug going around atm, less AR w/ nothing in Primary slot, dw weapon in Secondary slot. /shrug.

<div></div>Recently I had a similiar question and people were nice enough to answer it:Basically, whatever has the best dps matters, regardless of what the Attack value on the Persona window says. I personally would suggest two dual weapons: although individual damage may appear less than with barehands etc., if you take the dps into consideration, you are actually doing more damage over time. Since dual wield weapons are faster than barehands, the dps will tend to be higher.Thanks,Ironeye20 lvl Bruiser<div></div>
