Named vampires to kill for blood drenched gi

<div>I've been trying for this a bit, re-loading the tombs of night zone over and over (the regular zone after you do the first three quests for Devestation Fist, not search for answers or retribution versions) looking for Rhayn Tdax and Nilith Tfed. I know where Rhayn is and he is up maybe one in five loads and keeps giving me preserved something tunics. Nillith Tfed I thought was in the last pit all the way down in the last room (where the pentagram was in an earlier version of the zone) with the tunnel/door to Crypt of THaen but Ive done about 15 loads and no Nillith. Am I just getting unlucky, looking in wrong spot or do I need to kill/do something to get him to spawn?</div>

<div></div><p>Just to be clear, I'm past both the "retribution" and "search for answers" versions. I am in the normal "tombs of night" version that you get after those earlier versions. Can anyone confirm or point somewhere else to where Nillith is in the plain "tombs of night" after you're past the earlier versions? Places I know of named vamps but NOT Nillith:</p><p>1) Very top level by The Explorer</p><p>2) On the way down to the lower levels I get Rhayn</p><p>3) There are three named that are always up on the level right after you break the first wall. None of these seem to really drop loot.</p><p>4) The one that spawns when you activate the "watcher of sheyra" or whatever wisps.</p><p>5) The one that spawns when you jump off the waterfall and kill the netslingers (this one I may not have done in the current version of the zone but I was under the assumption this wasn't the one).</p><p>The one I described earlier in the pit at the very end right before you can zone into Crypt of THaen seems to be the one but I am either wrong or on a horrible string of luck as he just hasn't been popping.</p>

<div></div>Unfortunately those pre-dominately speak to the Retribution version. I have searched many past threads and the closest mention I fine is that he IS in the regular version of the zone but no confirmation of where. Can anyone confirm where Nillith is in the regular Tombs of Night instance? From what I can tell this is the best place to ask this (not the mostly dead Bloodlines forum) since I know lots of bruisers were interested in this Gi.

<div>It can be done in the last tombs of night instance (at the end of the quest line).  Its been too long for me to remember well, I had screenshots but...they seem to be lost now.. =/.I had the same issue as you and that guide didn't quite fit the quest series line that I took, so each instance I went into I just had to check the bottom where he *should* pop.  He ended up being in the last one.</div>

<div></div>Thanks, thanks. First run through tonight and there he was with the Gi! So confirming he is in that last room though he seems to pop like one in ten or something crazy.

Glad to hear.   If its not difficult going down their and grabbing the Gi you can make a market out of it <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> or hook up some Brawler friends with the Gi.  I ended up giving 4 away, and keeping one for myself <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.

<div></div>Sorry to necro this post, but just to clarify, this is the room at the very bottom where the entrance to the Crypt of T'haen is? This is the same room where in Retribution we stepped into the glowing pentagram, fought the Usurper and then watched his pants float through the door?Edit-Nevermind, 8 more resets later and there he is. At 45 I didn't have a chance to solo him. They did too much damage to me for me to kill all of his six guards then feign. By the time there was only one guard left (i'd kill a few, and then feign), the encounter reset on me and all 6 guards came back. So I called in a level 55 guild mate, had him mentor me and we killed him without a problem.First kill, Blood Drenched Gi.We reset him to see if we could get another one for a guildmate. Bam, Blood Drenched Gi again. It seems this guy is the one and only dropper of the gi. No Rhayne T'Dax or any other vamp.Anyways, a bruiser might can solo him, I'm not sure. But he's like all of the Vampires down here. He nukes for about 700-800. If he makes it through your defenses and hits you, that's another 500-600. So you probably won't to bring a friend, either a healer, or another tank.<div></div>

<div>I was able to take him at 44 (all rare crafted armor and weapons and Master defenseive stance might be key if you had problems). I would kill all his friends then FD off and take him out. By 46 I didnt have to FD at all.</div>
